Which is why I'm still confused that Ret palas apply that debuff, rather than, say, Rogues, and have Ret palas have the attack speed aura or something. :P

Incidentally, all rogues (even combat and sub ones which do pretty much only phisical damage) apply the magical vulnerability debuff ^_^

Simmed it with SimC for my char. I know this will not be news to many users here, but I'm sure some people would be intimidated by the idea of simming stuff, don't be, it is EXTREMELY straight forward. Massive well down to those SimC peeps!!

Download SimulationCraft. Import your character from the Import tab - Note it defaults to US realms, just change the url at the bottom of the page if like me you're EU. Then in the Options tab, select Buffs/Debuffs, (un)tick as required and hit Simulate. Compare and contrast.

I found that Weakened Armour and Physical Vulnerability where both modest DPS increases (0.67%/0.74%) and Attack Speed was a bit better (0.89%) which was just outside the margin of error but well within the DPS range, so unlikely to be noticeable. But Attack Speed also increased my SoI procs by 4.5% and my self healing by 2.7% while the other two were well within the margin of error.
