Stromae - Papaoutai - song about fathers that hit me like a truck in the feels.
Where's that Korra "feels" gif when you need it?

When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

Yeah, that pretty much sums me up when listening.

The Apocalypse Song - St Vincent. For some reason, this song always puts me in a good mood, without fail.

New Civil Wars album is pretty good. You can tell there is some tension in it, and it's a nice "Swan Song" So to speak. Not as good as Barton Hollow, but it's still pretty good, and JPW showed me again that his guitar arrangements can be sophisticated, yet simple all over.

We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Gone on the fast track for my "young time" music.
By fast, I mean SONIC fast.
Holy shit, hadn't I been turned off platformers a while ago, I would have tried to find a 2nd hand copy just for the music test :-p
EDIT: *nerdgasm*

Re: What are YOU listening to?
So, the wife was looking for this song on youtube. The only official version we found from Disney was by Demi Lovato. I don't know who she is, but she is terrible compared to the Broadway actress that did the voice/song in the movie, Idina Menzel.

And here's the pretty bad Demi Lovato version.

I know this making a single out of the movie song with a new singer isn't anything new, but I think one of the only times its worked, (ie, as good if not better than the movie) was this one.

Hmm, yeah. The second sounds very pop star-ish in style, while the first sounds more like a musical. Guess it's a difference in the way it's been produced.

Re: What are YOU listening to?
yea, but the pop version doesn't have to be bad. Disney has been doing that lately, letting terrible singers do the pop version of their songs.
Case in point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZtWVcb_9fs makes me just want to punch babies.
But Christina Aguilera's version of Reflection is really good...so they don't have to be terrible, lol.
