I'm selling a ton of Jade Squash at 130g per 25. What I don't get is what everyone is doing with all of it. I didn't see any 300 stat food recipes that use it but hey if they're buying I couldn't care less if they threw them out after they bought them.

Hi Tera,

Spirit feasts. Healers get int from the other ones for some stupid reason. Could also be people just maxing their Way of the Steamer.

Yeah, that's a losing game on any item that's even relatively easy to come by.

What are your prices for soy sauce, and the other ironpaw mats? You could turn those squash in for tokens, and buy the soy sauce, etc.

Re: Making Gold on the AH
Those mats took me forever to move which is why I moved to the raw mats. They've started to move albeit at a considerably lower price but given that it was basically overflow from my alt farms I'm still making a healthy profit.
Tailoring alt finally hit exalted with AC yesterday with close to 100 silk from my purposely slow climb. The money is raining from the sky right now. Bags selling at almost 4900g each but I don't see this lasting very long.
Not having my fleet of crafters over here is really hamstringing me on what potentially could be double if not triple what I'm bringing in now a day but I just can't justify all the rerolls/server xfers right now.

Hybrid gems, mostly orange, are up to 180g at the moment! I buy raws at 80g and make 100g profit on each.
Scopes are up to 900g (they were 150g before), I guess Torto's dropping a lot of bows, and that last week that LFR wing opened up.

Gratz on the mil oldboyz!
I'm content to say I have made 30k in the last few weeks, but that's mostly because I can't be asked to do anything but hawk overpriced glyphs.
Moving forward I'd like to get my gatherer leveled up and ready to go, then get JC/Ench up.
I also need to get a good grasp on flipping xmog stuff. I'm still a little hesitant to get into that business...

Re: Making Gold on the AH
Heh, I just hit 400k. Not really concentrating on making gold (too many alts to run!), but that felt kinda nice.
My "big seller" suddenly seems to be the ilvl450 crafted Plate Tanking pieces. Great margin on them, and the volume is quite good for crafted gear - I'm going through at least a half-set of them every day right now. Potion market seems to have come back a bit too.
The battle-pet prices seem to have crashed, though - at least for the raid ones. (Damn you slow-ass Hydrxian Waterlords rep *laugh*). Down to like 300 for the MC/BWL ones at least, where they were selling for 1200-1500 before.

Yeah I'm just now breaking 400k myself.
Been moving lotus and doing bag sales on weekends when people dump all their shit for ridiculous prices. I haven't paid attention to battle pet prices for a while now.. it was already drying up when I was moving stuff.
I'm kinda getting complacent again :\

Re: Making Gold on the AH
So... right now I have a JC, Encht, Alch, Scribex2, Eng, Miner, Tailor, all maxed.
With that in mind, leveling a lock, and am wondering about professions. Lock is now 71, so it's time to do some powerleveling, but can't decide on the professions.
I've saved all the cloth sofar that the lock has gathered while leveling, so if I want another tailor, I have a start there. Inscript or Encht would be ok for the buffs, but nothing is really mandatory.
So... what combo for a lock (gnome btw)?
Market on my server is pretty camped, and I really don't have time between all the LFR runs to do any serious goldmaking these days....

Re: Making Gold on the AH
since you have the main money makers covered on other chars, why not just go for the one that gives you the most +dmg?
All the crafting profs are +320 to your preferred stat, with engi being a little weird in that it gives you that same bonus once every minute rather than passively all the time, but at a higher value (good for burst I suppose).

Hmm... along that line.. alch might be the easiest to level (once past goldthorn) and I would have a headstart on tailoring with the cloth that's been gathered. Alch does provide a few other nice things when leveling/soloing.
One other gold making thought related here... my tailor has a good number now of the crafted 458 pvp patterns. I need to check what the prices are on those. I saw a lot of people leveling casters, there might be a market for that gear with new alts being leveled now...

Re: Making Gold on the AH
Yeah if you post them at competitive prices, they'll get snatched up. They're a super fast way to get iLvl necessary to enter the progression chain for gearing.
I have bought the sets on every char I get high enough to wear them.

Re: Making Gold on the AH
*shakes dust off AH thread*
So my current server ally side has way to many goblins, wanna-bes, and other assorted riff-raff to make much money beyond selling the mats I get from the bags from rares. Crafted gear market is camped, so I'll I'm doing otherwise is selling some gems...
However...
With the sale on transfers, I sent 3 toons to that server horde side, and I think I'm gonna have some fun. While the market is small, there are very few players on the AH, and I can see a lot of potential. First up is engineering, already selling the trinkets and cogwheels. After that will come JC/Alch/Encht. Fun thing was when I moved these toons there I had a total of maybe 1100G. So, sold two pets, and BAM!, up 22k, and ready to get rolling.
Now that I have toons and money on both side, might be looking for inequities in pet prices, and taking care of that problem on the server.. BAM!

Re: Making Gold on the AH
Had stopped selling tmog on my server the night before MoP launched, and started back again near the start of June. Since then managed to make 120-130k+ in net sales, which was rather nice.
Also had stopped selling DMF trinkets back in Feb, started that again for the last 2 faires, and have surprisingly still managed to make a decent profit (although not as much as the start of the expansion, thats for sure), and really hadn't been trying to make much gold from January-Marchish.
Only other sources of income have been failbags, loot drops, 2 blacksmithing weapons/month (2 toons), and 1 tailor for royal satchels.
Finally managed to make my first million gold tonight. Feels good but also "meh" since I really don't spend much these days. Feels good though considering not even a year ago (11? months ago) I was sitting at a total of 5k gold altogether due to gambling ^_^.

Grats Xfighter!
I'm still stuck around 600k myself. But as you said, there's not a lot to spend it on now, unless you are a pet collector.
I'm really looking forward to the AH chaos that will be caused by the virtual realms. It will be really interesting to watch.

Hey, he could have spent it ALL AT ONCE the other day on my server!
(There was a Invincible's Reins on our BMAH. High bid was 999,7xx. I wonder if it was "stuck" there and couldn't go any higher!

Though I know what you mean, I'm up to about 500k combined, and just don't even have any desire to scan/post stuff anymore. I just stock the guild bank and that's about it. *shrug*
Might make the black JC mount or something. Still want to buy the Primordious pet but can't seem to find one.

BMAH : i saw a 999.99k on mimiron's head 2 week ago
the crazy is about the unreclamed countainers, always go 30K+ since the beginning (while you most of the time obtain very crappy stuff, from wowhead comment).

I never understood why people bid 999,999. If you bid 955k you'll win it regardless as the next bid would go beyond the limit.

Probably hurry to put the max price asap before someone else puts it in.
