Skype and game sounds

Postby Worldie » Sun Mar 10, 2013 8:06 am

Long story short, people can hear my game sounds through skype and I can't understand how to prevent this.

Any insight? Searching on google didn't really help.

Assuming there isn't some sort of feeding of the sound directly to Skype... my only suggestions are:
1) Turn down/off your in game sounds
2) Move your mic farther away from your speakers
3) Figure out how to work push to talk to limit it to only when you're talking
4) Get headphones

Like people spying on you? Headphones don't work? No context makes it difficult to figure out a real solution.

Check in your sound and microphone settings. They often have options to filter out sounds the computer just generated.
