That is a fantastic set. I had always wanted to incorporate that style of shield into a mog, and have it "fit", but I never could get one to work. Kudos. That's amazing.

Re: Transmogrification and stuff!
To bad my hunter can't use that set, it would actually match (sorta) the Mantid arch gun.
So my tmog plans for this patch are up in smoke. The Mantid gun doesn't match anything, and the S13 set I want is restricted to a crapton of Conquest farming.
Maybe I'll go back to my mountain-man set.

What are you trying to stay away from, or incorporate? I'd be willing to take a stab at a set if you give me parameters on where I can, and can't get gear from, or around what I'm trying to build.

The starting point would be the new Mantid Arch gun, the Sonic Pulse Generator. You can see it on Wowhead. It's forest green with grey-steel trim, and has a lot of curves with spikes.
There are other mail sets with a lot of green, but none have the grey-steel trim, at least from what I've loot at sofar. The Ulduar sets have the right green, but none of the grey-steel, so the gun would stick out a lot.

BEST model for a shield in the game I say. I have both versions on my Pally.

Very nice mog. Not my style - my toon is female, so I subscribe to the time-honoured fantasy paradigm that the more flesh is shown, the higher the armour class is - but very nice indeed.

Heroic version, also. Normal version wouldn't cut it quite as well.

Yep, but the weapon is Caress of Insanity (Sorthalis has a different color scheme). For Ret I use the LFR version of Gur'thalak which matches very well as well (though unavailable now unfortunately).

I thought DS LFR was available (if you are lvl 85 at the time).

True, but something to consider for those leveling new tanks, especially with the mass of pet leveling in the past few days.

The bug-gun has no good match. I have a temp solution, but gonna dump the bug gun look once I get the gun from ToT.

Forever seemingly on my battlegroup. The MOP 10 day trial caps me just below level 86 so I thought I would do LFR DS to turn the yellow on my progression status to green (it used to be that if you killed a boss on a higher difficulty, you would get ticks for the lower difficulty however it seems they changed that) but there are never more than 10 people queuing for it.

Based on the level of details in your question, I'd suggest you look for "something cool" or maybe even take it as far as "quite fancy"! Alternatively it would help a lot if you told us what class it's for, and maybe even posted a picture of your character so we know what to match it with.

Re: Transmogrification and stuff!
Finally gave up trying to get the Mantid gun to work with a tmog set, it just kept getting sillier and sillier...
So went back to my best hunter set ever, the mountain-man set, complete with mount. I need to rummage around for a tabard that works better since I don't need the guild rep now.
