Re: The My Little Pony thread.
I'm going into S4 with curiosity and slight worry, but I'm willing to give it a few episodes to get going, even if the first ones doesn't quite catch me. I am nothing if not patient!

You jaded? That's unpossible!
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

You haven't been on the political topic in a while, have you?

The funny thing is that the show was something I was not jaded about for a long time -- I used to come from work, put a random episode and relax while drinking whisky and coke, just to unwind...

Apparently, bunch of people say this is better than the official documentary (which I havent watched), and while not bad... the guys having so much pony swag on them makes me cringe... badly...

Seriously though, Klaud can attest that I'm the mildest of mild in all things fan, but that Equestria Girls idea... Just ungh.
Can't judge a book by its cover, but THIS is one mothafarking ugly cover!

Re: The My Little Pony thread.
One day, when I've finally put a dent in the list over books I want to read and series/movies I want to watch, then I'll see if I can't get around to maybe having a look at these comics you speak of...
I've gotten a decent start though, watched on average 2 movies a week plus a few episodes of different series, AND I try to read a chapter or two of a good book every other evening or so!

Re: The My Little Pony thread.
Yeah, I saw. I don't have any comic book reader app, but I'm sure it's a simple enough matter to fix. I'll look into it when the time comes.
Never really was the comic book type, more into good old fashion books. I sort of feel like I've missed out on a big part of geek-life, though.
I definitely aim to go through Sandman at some point, if for no other reason than curiosity!

For all I know everyone's seen this already (I tend to discover these things about 3 days after everyone else), but hey! Was a little humorous.

Amirya:Why yes, your penis is longer than his because you hit 30k dps in the first 10 seconds. But guess what? That raid boss has a dick bigger than your ego.
Flex:I don't make mistakes. I execute carefully planned strategic group wipes.
Levie:(in /g) It's weird, I have a collar and I dont know where I got it from, Worgen are kinky!
Levie:Drunk Lev goes and does what he pleases just to annoy sober Lev.

Good thing about being up late (~5AM for me now) is that all the Americans are up and running! Although, quite frankly, you have been for a while now, haven't you? What is it over there now, somewhere between 8PM and 11PM, depending on where you live?
