No info on when tickets go on sale as far as I can see!
We're not totally sure we're going yet, but I'm booking the days off from work just in case!

Surprised no one's responded yet. Anyone planning on going? The more I think about it, the more I realize how much fun it was last time so now I'm really wanting to go again! Spoke to Sahiel and the crazy guy's already booked his hotel and flight!

some guildies were trying to convince me to go... and I really want to since finally meeting some of the folks I spend so much time with would be a lot of fun (and maybe a few from here!). Not sure the budget will handle it though (too much travel planned already

We went in 08, 09, and 10 and met up with a significant portion of the guild. In '11 we just had everyone over to my house and got the PPV stream, which was nice because we could watch the streams time delayed after going out to dinner and whatnot.
We'll likely do the same this year -- PPV is terribly convenient, and my house is a damn sight more comfortable than standing in line or camping seats. In '09 I found good seats for the closing ceremony (Ozzy concert) first thing in the morning and just held on to them for the entire day.
It's worth going to at least once, especially if you can meet up with internet friends, but the vendors and displays don't change much from year to year. I don't know that I'd spend the money on tickets to go alone.

If enough people from my new guild go, I might go ahead and try to get tickets this year..

Seeing as Anaheim is in the US; I very much doub't I'll be going. Even if it was in eurpoe I doubt I'd be going (can't really spend so much money on teh trip itself)

Im planning on attending this year, so I hope it will be an amazing blizzcon, especially since there was none last year.
Altho it always sounds like getting tickets are pretty random who actually gets them.

I'll be going to Hawaii in October, so I'll probably work in the holiday so that I'm staying in the US long enough to attend.

I booked a hotel, but not a flight yet. I'm not 100% sure I can go, and hotels are more easily refundable than flights.
Provided I can arrange it around classes though, I'll be there.

The years we went we had four to six people camping the site as soon as they went on sale; usually only three people made it to the end of the queue and managed to purchase tickets even though everyone hit the sale page within the first ten seconds (those people bought tickets for everyone else; they allowed a maximum of 5 per bnet account).
It's rather ridiculous.

Will be streaming it -- being on the other side of the world makes actually attending it a tad tricky (not to mention rather expensive).

The idea of hosting a stream party actually sounds like a good one given limited tickets... may have to talk to some of my friends to see if that could become a reality.

I'd like to go one year, but as far as I know, no one from my guild is going. I don't think it would be as much fun flying solo.
