It's the add tank that's dying, not the boss tank, IIRC.

It changes. Sometimes I have it, sometimes he does. We're still swapping due to stacks.

And we've been swapping at 10 even without the adds up. People are seriously swapping at TWENTY stacks? That seems excessive.

Wait, what the heck fight are you on about? Big adds on Lei Shi? Aren't they all the same size?

Thing is, Lei Shi's casting speed increases over time. First Protect Phase, we usually switch back at 10-12. Last one, we're closing in on 20. When adds aren't up we just swap whenever possible.

But, did I misread or did you mention that the add tank taunts Lei Shi during protect phase? That ought to hurt.

Also, yeah, Lei Shi. It's just that, those adds are, like, BIG!

if you don't swap in the last protect phase, you will end up with 30+ stacks on the boss tank, which will kill them the instant their cooldowns expire.

One tank eating both Lei Shi's blast and the adds must be *insane* to heal through for any amount of time.

Generally you'll be able to take at least one add out of three out of the fight with a hard CC, it is very easy to over-aggro a tank that isn't hitting the other elemental too.

I think your DPS should be aiming to kill the alloted protector well before 30 stacks, even on the 20% phase, you can use hero on that add phase to make it quicker.

Gratz! You get that doing her solo, or was it a group sort of thing?

Solo. First time I ever tried it, did it as protection (after failing as ret a few times) and it was a pretty easy. Fly up and get your 200% haste while hitting her, then pop cooldowns and nuke during the burn phase. Ignore the adds tickling you. Grab more feathers and repeat until the boss is dead.

lurkers is now 7/16 with new kills on will and the first boss in HoF on our last pull of the night

had really bad connection issues with our other tank to start the night, losing us 30 min or so, switched from HoF to MSV, 1 shot everything but will, had 45 min left in raid
2 shot will, 30 min left we hit HoF and down the first boss our first and last pull (we had 3 pulls to start the night before tank connection issues kicked in)

After 11 normal mode and 3 heroic mode kills, with probably 8+ coins used, I finally got the Heroic version of the shield off Spirit Kings.

Replaced my 476 BoE shield that I got the second week of the expansion..
