So got my hunter moved over to the new Convert to Raid guild on Aerie Peak US. No idea if a raid slot will work out or not, but they are already up to 900ish toons in the guild, my wild guess is a quarter of those will actually raid. At least it will be an active guild.

Got my shaman faction changed, found a guild and did 6/6 MSV in less than 2 hours.

I almost forgot what it was like to actually raid.

after a pretty frustrating night...finally figured out that when my computer "optimized" itself...it brought my fps to like 20.

when i took back it's happiness...i got fps at 60 on ultra.

fuck you computer...fuck you...i win.

We had some trouble organising tanking with me on two-dogs shouting which dog to taunt.
Eventually, we bit the bullet and I went for one dog, and just had to call wether "taunt" or "no taunt". Went like a breeze after that.

Fun fact: I'm now part of the raid team that includes that blind player from WoW Insider. He was on the team last night. On dogs Heroic. And no, he was FAR from a burden. A clear asset, even.

Fascinating in fact. Of course, it needs some setup to work right, and sometimes we need to have the boss on farm (Amber Shaper is the only one where I've seen it happen), but it works really well even when it sounds insane.

Sha of Fear? check! Empress adds? check! Freaking BLADE LORD and Garalon? He's one of the best *because* he's not counting on his eyes to guesstimate positioning!

I didn't see the article, so I'm wondering how he deals with the mundane stuff in the game, like doing enchants or gems, or other things where there are not audio indicators for what to do.
