We did ours, he was arms warrior queued as a tank, he did have tank gear but no CDs and all the goodies of the prot spec, first ToES boss tickles and can be one tanked (the other 2 bosses just cast stuff don't really hit hard), I was healing and I was in charge of healing him, he didn't take any damage and he didn't have aggro at all, after the fight we wiped on Tsulong because this time he was really taking unhealable damage and the other tank caught him on DPS spec.
So if you queue as tank and change to DPS spec do you get DPS gear if you win? If so Blizz needs to fix this, if not what an ass..
You only get dps gear on the bonus roll.

Nope, I got a tanking cloak from Tsulong LFR when I went blood on my DK after joining as DPS. We'd kicked the previous tank who didn't understand the need to taunt so the other tank could let his breath debuff fall off, and a replacement was taking ages, so I respecced and was a bit surprised when I got a tank cloak for my troubles.

No only we lost all the Core raiders... but also all my friends left to a newly created guild...)
Lolololololololol...... Guess what happened to my raid group sometime over the past week.....
So I'm in the middle of week 3 of a 3 week vacation, but have been logging in with the remote app occasionally to see what was going on. Strangely hadn't seen any of the core raid group on. So I did some searching on the armory and didnt see them in in guild. Finally found the majority of the on Illidan US horde side in Dysfunctional. There had been lots of griping lately about recruiting, and how weak the server was (Flex can vouch for that) but I hadn't heard of specific plans for a move. No, will not be following them.
So it looks like I'm looking for a new server and/or guild yet again.
Have hunter and spriest, will travel.

Yeah, raid times are always an issue, plus you're raiding on your hunter this go around..

Might try Lurkers on Stormrage, pretty active pug raid environment there. Too bad so many others here are EU, or that I'm not EU.
At least they made the decision for me. Now just need to find a new home.

Probably best to get a fresh start anyway.
Just confirmed that they did bail, and left a mess in their wake. I'm under suspicion since I was part of the raid group, lol. Time to move on confirmed.

hey, we need two dps for our raid group. we start at 1130 east coast. we are pretty bad...couldn't beat elegon...now we are just doing heart of fear.
i don't talk on vent. there are 15 people in the guild. i think we are supposed to raid tonight...but i've thought we were supposed to raid for the last month and that hasn't happened.
PS: not my frustration...but my managers. he walks up to me and says, "can you go into your sharepoint site?"...which is for our zone. i say, "i have no idea what you are talking about"...he says, "you have to be f'ing kidding me"...i said, "so i'm assuming i should know how to access this site?"...hahahahaha

I think Steve Jobs was probably the shittiest Buddhist ever.
The other guys involved are no better, and I hope they do get sued.
But Steve Jobs takes the cake as being the biggest asshole of the bunch.
I mean, NDA and No-Competition Clauses are common, but those are made known upfront... this is all backdoor deals and affected the livelihood of many people. So screw them

The irony of this is just BEAUTIFUL.

And yet, he's expecting Blizzard to develop the game based on HIS whims, and the whims of the other really hardcore players, which is.....*drumroll* THE FEW! He's making a moany post on teh forums and expecting Blizzard to buckle.
Oh, how I loathe humans some days.

I wonder what's the clearance rate for HoF and ToES -- is it being cleared at a lower pace than 4.0?
To be honest... I felt my raid progressed faster in Cata than it is currently doing in MoP. Part of it is a bunch of real life throwing shit at my guildies, but I'll say this -- IT'S NOT FUN

i cant really touch on that question for myself, as we didnt raid til the nerfs came in in 4.0, and were 1/7 in FL when we had to take a 2 month break due to school and started again when the nerfs hit, and then were...5/8 pre nerf? with black horn going down i believe in the 10%
we are currently 3/16

As much as I've been a fan of Apple products, Jobs always was an arrogant prick, and his Buddhism was nothing more than stroking his own ego.
There's certainly room there for some fines, but I doubt much will come of it.

Re: Post your Frustrations.
I'm sure there's a way to find out about progress relative to T11 say, but after nosing around wowprogress and guildox I'm none the wiser.
Hypothetically progress should be easier this tier than say T11 since there's a 1/2 ilvl jump between MSV and HoF/ToeS allowing for more gradual progression.
The first tier is always the hardest as the ilvl jump between leveling and raiding is far greater than between subsequent raiding tiers.

Our first month and a half of raiding had that entire real life shit plus holidays. I think in the first two months we had one week where we did both nights. Toss in several one offs of people missing days, a new baby eating a week, it has been slow for us but about 70% of it has not really been content difficulty related.
