i completely agree

while i do get frustrated at the derps and the lack of progression, i cant think about raiding with another team cause i wouldnt have the same fun i do with PK

that said, i do raid with lurkers still and they have some better progression, but it is basically the same fun atmosphere

Despite having had quite a few ship jumps this last month, I'll mostly agree - you can get in the bestest team ever, killing bosses with the might of the STAAAAAARE and still not enjoy it. I think if my original guild was still going strong, I wouldn't have considered moving, or at least would have kept a toon active.

That's also why I'm so exited with the latest team, as I found back the feeling of welcome I got from TK and Lethal, AND a raid spot to boot!

Job is going great. I am hoping that by the end of may (maybe into june) I will have my debts paid and will be able to use my paychecks for fun things.

My current fun thing lined up when that happens will be a tattoo. I have the sketch done, but I'm seriously blanking on what style to go for, and once I find the style that fits the subject I have to find the right tattoo artist. The shop I went to for my last two I don't think can do what I'm hoping for. damnit I don't want traditional or realistic

That to... If only they would add it to the ultra's in game... A trample mode. "Tramples all units underfoot and kills them. Oh, and you run on after a Siege Tank in Siege mode hits you in the face." I dont think I would ever play something else again. Unless ofcourse, the changed the Vikings to a do a barrel run...

A new success for today: Managed to break our application in 4 ways, and replaired them within an hour after finding them ^^

I'll aslo agree with the friend sthing - also the reason I've decided not to leave <Lethal>, even though I would like to raid. If I can get an auxiliary spot on some team that fits my schedule, that would be great - but I'm also finding the freeness of my evenings satisfactory, and being able to level my 5th charatcer, play X-com, watch some netflix and generally be more avalable when planning meetings is great.

In our case it was too many people saying "yeah we want to raid, and be more progression oriented this time around", and failing to live up to it, combined with the usual star of expansion "problem" that "too many" guilds raid the first tier, making recruitment hell, combined with losing most of our raid core (both tanks, as I went dps, and the other tank stopped playing, with the tertiery wanting go back to dps, as well as .. well all our healers) - if we had had the core (tanks and healers) I think we would have gotten further and not imploded.

Get 2-3 weeks behind the progression of the rest of the server at the beginning of the expansion and it suddenly becomes extremely hard to recruit anything at all.

Yes indeed, because all the ones that haven't gotten into a raid pool, are "of course" only good enough for the most progressed raid groups.
