10 man heroic yes. Normal no. On normal it just makes things needlessly complicated with kiters getting (or not getting) swiped.
FWIW we 0 tank 3 healed normal mode having a ret pally (me) and a holy paly soak fury swipes. We had the other two healers and two good movement ranged dps (hunter and lock) kiting pheromones.
Success/Frustration: H Garalon and Wind Lord down in the last two raid nights but they should have been dead before Christmas, boy was that a rough three weeks...

The strat (10N) we've been trying has the tanks share it with either 2 hunters or, on our best attempts, 1 hunter and a holy pally (think we 3 healed). I think if weren't for the fact that we are seeing DPS issues more than healing/kiting issues we'd change (if we had rogues, I know we would). I'm wondering if at least one us tanks (2 pallies) will have to go ret and use CDs on swipes to get us past the hump. I think our last couple wipes were like 15% death to enrage with no B-rezzes, everyone up and the healers comfy.
But I can totally see how having soakers not take pheromones could make life a bit easier.

As long as you spec and maintain SS and use a Glyphed TV for the damage reduction prior to each swipe its a breeze with divine protection/shield for emergencies. Despite our lack of a defensive "stance" as ret the damage taken really isnt that bad.

Finally some progress in raiding. After being stuck on the troll guy in MSV for a few weeks he and Spirit Kings went down.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Bought myself a blu-ray player, so now I no longer need to use my 12-year-old PS2 to play DVDs. \o/
Bonus: It has built in wifi so I can now watch online TV stuff on my actual TV.

I finished 2 sculpted cakes, Cinnamon cakes with syrup in 2 layers with dark chocolate ganache between the 2 layers, white chocolate ganache on the top and sides, marzipan lid and colored fondant to match the partys logo before general assembly tomorrow where I expect to be nominated for 3rd place on our list for the municipal elections later this year.

Brekkie:Tanks are like shitty DPS. And healers are like REALLY distracted DPS
Amirya:Why yes, your penis is longer than his because you hit 30k dps in the first 10 seconds. But guess what? That raid boss has a dick bigger than your ego.
Flex:I don't make mistakes. I execute carefully planned strategic group wipes.

Moving my alliance hunter with my brother to Sargeras leaving the horde behind and sort of starting fresh.
Love my shaman but just tired of the class and playing Horde in general. Change should be good and I might even be able to actually raid.

Elegon is much simpler than SK. Or perhaps i should say Elegon is like normal in blues and SK has new stuff.

We hate skipping stuff. I'm sure we'll try SK for 1,5h and then maybe go on to elegon depending on progress.

Leaving a dying Azgalor for Bleeding Hollow. Guild needs a fresh perspective after an abysmal start to the expansion. I'm really hoping recruitment will improve now that we're on a server that isn't in death rattle mode.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't become a frustration.

first night of actually trying Garalon seriously (the previous two times we pulled Garalon were just as the raid was about to end, we hadnt even discussed strategy and such) and we got him down to 15%

Boring then. I was whining on the first night, but right now, i love getting to kite -it feels important and high-precision, something I missed a bit so far. i won't advise to try (better to stick with what is working), but do give it a shot when you're bored some day (and everyone is okay with it :-p)

Re: Post Your Successes!
Successfully booked a trip to Edinburgh!
Girlfriend and I decided we'd start taking several shorter/cheaper trips during the year, rather than one longer/more expensive every summer. I've taken it upon me to do the booking/organizing, and I've decided we'll go for a simplified version of World Explorer (meaning we don't have to explore every last corner of a country to get credit, it's enough to spend a few days anywhere in the country)!
(...might have to simplify it even more, down to "safe countries", when we run out of non-dangerous places...)
[Insert joke here about the safety of the crazy Scot-riddled Edinburgh]

Unfortunately I was only there for a day or two, and my memory of it is a bit hazy without the aid of a photo album atm, but I'd say take the sightseeing bus tour as soon as you get into town so you can map out where you want to go/what you want to do. Gives you an idea of the layout of the city which will be really helpful for doing the tourist stuff.
I never went into the castle, although my family, on a later trip, said they weren't that impressed with it. (I'd probably still do it when I go again.) Also if you're up for trekking - go up to Arthur's Seat - the views are amazing from up there.
And no matter how squeamish you may or may not be, at least give haggis a shot.

We do like us some trekking, I'll note Arthur's Seat down! Hopefully the weather won't be too bad, although it is in February.

And personally I'm not squeamish at all, so if I remember to I'll give haggis a go.
