Soloed Alysrazor (10N). Probably coulda done it a while back, but the damage had seemed high in tornado phase and I didn't try again then. This time took a lot of practice to get it just right.

Everything else in Firelands hits way too hard. Even the trash.

The worst part about Alys is making sure she doesn't despawn after the cleave. I screwed that up so many times :\

Oddly, it didn't even happen once this time. I lost to a lot of other things, like suddenly falling out of the sky and getting eaten by birds, and running into the invisible wall first time I got to the end of tornado phase.

When I tried it a month or so back I did see it despawn a couple times. Now I just try to chase as much as I can. Helps that I now know that there's a pattern to the rings (you get several in a row in the same position).

All my stuff is in my new place, the computer is set up, and it's connected to the internet. I think this means I'm finally moved in.

(Now I just have to do the damn port forwarding for WoW...)

lolpulled guardians hc after that. once to see what the thing in the journal would look like, 2nd for the kill. (no green is easiest?)
Did some tries on Feng (with one tank with no exp on that boss), but no kill yet. Still a full raidday left for us though.

Also: pointed out a rookie mistake that the shaman tc-er made. Apparently she didn't check the spiritregen for shamans on live
tried for an hour to match the number in the guide, but just couldn't do it. ended up getting my own numbers confirmed. faith in my math-fu restored.

Finally after the xmas "sort of raiding break" we downed sha 25H. I seriously thought i'm gonna die irl there, most annoying boss ever imo. btw got both epax too

Finally can free up the bag space that the sha-touched gem has been taking up for the past 5 weeks!
