I did the first 3wipes there yesterday night... i'm not confortable on this boss since my guild always fails when it's a ranged driven fight...

Jumped into heroics today on my 442 geared DK as a tank. I survived the first instance wholly, and in the second I only died once, due to everyone else being dead end being told to sit down and die (3 minutes later) (healer was OOM - my bad for not letting it have a mb before pulling sha in temple).

But getting the best out of DS is hard compared to what I'm used to.

Exalted with Operation: Shieldwall, meaning all my rep grinding is finally over! Would have had the 70 exalted achievement if they hadn't removed it.

The new gryphon model looks awesome.

Finished all 9 challenge modes in one night, was avoiding to do them for so long due to people beeing emo not wanting to go later on, was nice actually doing them all in one go so we would skip that problem altogether.

Yeah, they are both bosses that, once you have killed them, will pretty much always die in the first couple of attempts the next week. Pure execution fights.

That was Newsom. I'm not quite revered yet, though I think I missed a day of dailies. I think there's an extra daily you can do from commendations, but I was under the impression it didn't give rep. Maybe that was a bug though, and got fixed after the first few days of 5.1.

There is an extra daily from commendations (well sort-of) - you can kill one of the 3 captured beasts (traps from commendations - trapping doesn't give rep, killing does - once per day).

1-shot (well, apart from "wake up pulls") all 4 MV we have down, with a 2-healing group - was a bit concerned with stone guard and 2-healing this week (Jasper, cobalt, Amethyst).
