Actual ringtones kind of annoy me (for myself, not necessarily on others), but my alarm clock is the FFX-2 theme song. (Shut up Sab - I love the music AND the game!) Of course, I insisted we use that as our "walk down the aisle" music at our wedding ceremony, so now, every morning when it goes off, Invis goes "it's time to get married!" lol

I have to agree with Sagara. 8-bit is definitely cool, but 16-bit added just enough variation to let the music stand on their own legs, in my opinion. I can listen to the music just to listen to the music, whereas with most 8-bit tunes it's usually limited to a few minutes for nostalgia.

Never actually heard that Secret of Mana tune, but loved it!

Think as far as 8-bit ringtones go, I'd probably try to find one of "entering a battle" from pokemon.

Tbh i'd love a ringtone of the team plasma entering battle from pokemon black/white 1/2, my favourite so far!

GEt the entire soundtrack, or at least check it out on Youtube - that game was one of the marvels of the SNES. I played its successor around when the Playstation 2 came out, because, it's. just. that. good.

We found a nice little "Horde" of collectible patches from the late 1980's at work from a popular toy manufacturer. I'm pretty excited to see the price they are fetching on ebay, and I look forward to making some good money off of them. Here's hoping that our little horde doesn't crash the market on them...
