You know, for some reason, I never made the connection with that Higurashi scene - and I love both Higurashi and Umineko

Still hoping that there's a second season of Umineko...

From the current predicted air dates, we'll get the first two episodes back-to-back, so no worries there.

The preview was the first 8 minutes of S3E1. It contains:
1 min of Opening
2 mins of one of the previewed songs
5 mins of set up, with delicious, juicy, foreshadowing.

I refuse to spoil anything. But I do love to drop things without context that have people go WTF.
