So, My week so far. Election day, went and applied for an apartment, with my girlfriend! (Both of our first apartments.) Friday: Got approved! Saturday: Dropped my entire paycheck on rent/deposit.. Started moving!
Sunday: Moving
Monday: Moving + work
Tuesday: Work + Semi-unpacking
Today: Set-up internet/Cable TV. Finally feels like a real apartment!
So excited to have my own place finally, it feels so goooooood =]

how the fuck did we go a week without a post in the relationships thread?!?!?!!?
anyway, bad/good news
our 10 yr old cocker ...oops 11 yr old (his bday was yesterday) had to be put down earlier today
he had a tumor in his jaw that was spreading to his throat and had closed it off.
yesterday he was really sluggish, but today he was active, but couldnt eat or drink anything
there was nothing that could be done.
we had him since he was 9 months old, when he was a birthday present to my mom from her brother and rescued from death row in a shelter.
now we are down to 5 yr old Bo and 3 yr old Willy
RIP Freckles, you will be missed

Sorry to hear about your dog; it's quite incredible how strong bonds we can form with animal companions. I've never really had any myself. Parents had a cat when I was little, but it just up and decided one day that we weren't worth its attention and pissed off into the forest never to be seen again. As cats often do. I have a theory that he lives there to this day, ruling the beasts of the wild with an iron paw. Saw him chase off a fox once. Massive cat, never did anything but eat and hunt. >_>
