I suppose this article works here, though probably won't bring about as much discussion as some other threads.

Thoughts? Do you think "doping" should be made legit?

Re: All about sports
I have been a proponent of the use of HGH as a recovery drug in sports for a while. I don't know if I would go so far as to allow them to use anything and everything, because some of the drugs can and do, have just awful side effects. Heavy Anabolic Steroid use is tied to the deaths of a lot of people, ranging in causes from multiple forms of cancer (Lyle Alzado) to Depression, and Suicide (Wrestler who roid raged on his family, and then killed himself)
While I know there are purists who say that the records will never be the same again, I say "if you believe that every record from the 1960's on is without question, completely 100% done without drugs, you are insane. The amphetamine craze of baseball, steroids, etc... all matter. Hell, the invention of Gatorade changed things.
It's a tough line to walk, and I would say that in the right scope, with the right regulations involved, I could see an era where certain "PEDS" are legal.

The problem is the trickle-down to college and high school athletics.

Of course it is, that's why I said with he right regulations involved. I in no way shape or form advocate just "Opening the Flood Gates" and allowing Self Reporting.

Still, if they are legal in the pros, every hot prospect is going to have a special "dermatologist", regardless of what the regulations are.

Beginning to think that Verlander is a choke artist. Coming up small in the big games.

Didn't know panda's were so fierce, might explain your fear of them.

Stern did some great things for the league, but late in his career he became a bastion of hate, and I'm pretty sure that his legacy will never be the same because of it.
