Re: What are YOU listening to?
My wife really wants to see this band, too bad they don't often come over to the US.

Re: What are YOU listening to?
This song from the play might be my favorite performance of this song, even more than Simone Simons'. I have to wonder if acting the song, and not simply singing, helps to bring the emotions out. Simone Simons, Barbara Streisand, Susan Boyle are all just standing there as they sing, and though great performances, don't seem to have the emotion of this one from the play itself.

Re: What are YOU listening to?
Was listening to the radio, and they said "Check out this brand new band!" I was amused to hear a band I've been listening to for years and the song they played is off their fourth album...

... the fact that more potential voters are swayed by a few trivial comments 10 years ago than a candidate literally collapsing is not a good sign and tends to indicate that even if Trump wins, it won't matter.

We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

The new Muse album, The 2nd Law. I actually didn't expect to enjoy it much, since I never really got into The Resistance, but it's pretty good.

Love This Giant, the album collaboration between St Vincent and David Byrne. Listened to it a few times now and verdict: Meh. Really not getting into it. One good song on there - "Who" - but the rest just don't hit me right.
Heading back to the St Vincent records for something better.

New song from Kamelot.
The new singer isn't bad. I like the guest singers in this from Amaranthe and The Agonist. We saw both of the guest singers when we saw Kamelot play in San Diego. I think I would listen to this even if it wasn't Kamelot, which is a testament to the new singer filling in well enough.
