hmmm,

That makes it problematic as that can open you up to taking a lot more damage if you are the tank being hit at the time (no dodge/parry/block while casting). I haven't done any of the raid encounters yet though, so there might be uses for it.

Yeah I think most of the time it won't be worth it (which is probably as it should be - who wants to lose tons of effective DPS any time a druid's not around to cast Symbiosis, or when someone else needs to get Symbiosis instead?). But it's got situational uses for sure.

Symbiosis hotfixed. We now get Rebirth instead of Wrath. Fun nerfed. :(

It was way to overpowered as a tank just doing fulltime dps on some fights with damage dealing abilities you can use CDs for to survive.

So a paladin in a 10 man will never get Symbiosis.

Depends. I tought about that, and the big risk with having only a druid, is that you may not have another Brez available. A symbyosed Paladin can cover that up.

Then again you'd need 1 druid, 0 DK, 0 Warlock and 0 Hunters. Pretty rare, even in a 10-man.
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

We have a resto druid, a warlock and a death knight in our 10man :) And don't the cooldowns on battle rezzes reset on wipe?

Ye all but the hunter battle rez reset on a wipe.
I can see my 10 man occasionally only having a druid to battle rez as we haven't found a reliable lock in 3 years of raiding >.< and our hunter isn't always BM (it's a BM only pet I think) and our dk often needs to work.
Saying all that even then I think a 2nd tranq from putting it on our SPriest will be too strong on most fights to pass it up.

Hunter Brez comes at the expense of another major buff, and is BM only - just a thing to figure in.
Main Characters:
Nooska, Blood Elf BM/SV Hunter on Argent Dawn (EU)
Morosin, Bloody freezing orc death knight on Argent Dawn (EU)
Niisca, Shady forsaken "priest" on Argent Dawn (EU)

Keeper Emeritus of the BM hunters guide on Elitist Jerks and the wowhead version untill patch 5.3.
