Yeah. Just the same last night. Someone was asking for 465 ilvl for MV.

<- My face when.
Do those guy want to form a raid, or to get a raid to stuff them? It's friggin' week two!
I think the top geared people last Monday were 466-ish?
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

Re: Post your Frustrations.
I may be looking for my third different guild since quitting Edge. The guild, foolishly, split into two raid groups in Firelands. The group I'm in is about dead since most of them haven't played since May. The other group is too damn clique-ish and won't bring in most of my group simply because they don't like those players despite having only 9 in the raid. Further, they extended an offer to me... if I change Mains to my mage in part because one of their tanks (also a paladin) "doesn't have an off-spec". That and their comp is horrid (two pallies, hunter, three windwalkers, dk, druid of some kind, possibly a second druid or a priest). And yet the remnants of my group is already lfr geared while half their group isn't even 90 and those that are are barely 440...

Renewed the guild domain last week.
This morning, it's expired (confirmation number received and confirmed they actually took the money).
Not happy.

What registrar? I've never had a problem with NetworkSolutions, but have had problems with others. Also, NEVER register the name through the hosting company.

And I've never had a problem with the registration and hosting being done by the same company. I actually hate having them with two different companies.

Bad practice. Because...
If your relationship with the hosting company goes bad, they can hold the name hostage.
Many hosting companies actually register the names themselves, so if you leave, you might be hosed.
Many of the hosting companies don't give you access to the domain names should you choose to use a filtering service such as Cloudflare.
I much prefer having all my domain names managed at one place, even if hosting is scattered among several providers.

It used to be the same company, now two separate companies.
And problem is now fixed with much apologies as the auto-renewal is currently borked.

If you go with a Hosting Company that registers the name themselves, you chose poorly. Of course they will then hold it hostage. Choosing to use one of those companies is just a terrible practice.
I've never had my hosting company tell me no on something like that. They have asked politely if I would rather use a product that they support, but if I insist, they have never said no.
Makes me wonder if the little company I use is just too cool, or what.... I've not had any of the "horror" type experiences.

Problem is you really don't know.. kinda like insurance companies. Most people don't know what to ask.
Some of the smaller companies are actually far better in terms of service and response.
Still, I have enough domains that I would not want to spread them across the hosting companies were they are used or parked.

I guess if you use different hosting companies, that'd be one thing, but I've been using the same company for everything for almost 15 years. The only complaint I've ever had is that they were a little (or a lot) slow in making affordable .php plans. But, like I said, they are a smaller company, so it's understandable.

up until they said that, it was just life on a pvp server
but saying that is above and beyond simply ganking and messing with the opposite faction
and if they were the same faction, then its greifing from the get go

Which is why you roll a PvE server.
There are enough douchebags to go around without including the PvP element.

Arathor is a PVE server, not a PVP one.
(Tho I miss sometimes the ability to bash horde in the face)

Re: Post your Frustrations.
it is looking like i wont be raiding as my hunter after all
unless some ppl get off thier asses and level, we will need healers...again
so i guess i raid as an enh/resto shaman seeing as we have a priest, 2 mages, and possibly a lock depending on what an officer decides to do

Dear Golden Hopling #30 hiding under the stairs,
Please place yourself in a position where I can easily click you and not have to try and use my terrible reflexes or bad attempts at making interaction keybindings to pluck you from the air when I reapply Ling's Tea time and time again.
Sincerely,
Cogg

Can you perhaps get under the stairs using some kind of shrinking spell?

Re: Post your Frustrations.
I don't think so. We had our gnome and dwarves try and they couldn't get under either.
Wowhead says you have to "catch" it out of the air when you (re)apply the buff but I tried tirelessly that the darn Hopling actually despawned. I think we wasted 200g on the darn teas.
