all daggers are 1.8 speed, all 1 hd non daggers are 2.6 speed
i dont remember what 2hd are

regarding the scribe talk- as someone like me who has 3 clothies on my main server, as well as a druid and soon a monk, i am loving being a scribe
plus my horde side, i have a lock and a mage as well as a resto/kitty (might be going back to resto/boomkin) druid

the changes kinda suck for me cause i play a combat rogue...with stage one daggers
either the axe doesnt drop, or the ele shaman wins it, or the mut rogue wins it and de's it

They of course changed all the behind the scenes workings as well, so there is no need for fast/slow daggers, you just need daggers.

Unless they changed things (or my brain is scrambled from getting up so fucking early today), the daggers were deliberately designed to be just viable and competitive for combat.

they do have a special ...stat?
that boosts sinister strike and revealing strike damage by 45%.
but the ax from DW is still better then equivalent tier of daggers (ir LFR ax > Stage 1 daggers, Normal >Stage 2, Heroic > legendary)

and with the new changes, and no stacking of DP from your OH, there is no need to have a fast oh anymore

Except for fewer main gauche procs, which leads to less energy recovery, which makes the entire choice a complete wash last time I checked. Dagger has better mg and slightly better energy regen while sword/axe/mace has better spree damage.

Combat Potency is normalized to weapon speed now. Though I believe slow/slow is not quite equal to slow/fast.

Back to professions..

Noticed a stealth change yesterday. With the patch Tuesday, they upped the requirements for each new level of professions. Which means that say for the Frostweave tier on Tailoring, your alt now needs to be 65 instead of 60, and the Embersilk requires 75 instead of 70. I assume the Panda levels will require 85, but I didn't check that.

I think this was done across all the professions. Yet another nerf to crafting alt-slave-workshops in the trade districts of SW and Org.

It has been 75 for leveling past 450 ever since Cataclysm came out.
