Ronulo and Juliane

Postby Keion » Sun Jan 13, 2008 7:56 am

We have protection warrior and not uncrushible yet Keion. I was assigned to tank Romulo cause disarm is not that important and having extra pummeler helps when rogue sleeps when Huly heals. Is it better, than warrior on Romulo?
Arthas thought Stratholme is not cool enough and decided to perform some cooling.

Whichever tank is better geared should tank Romulo.

QFT

If his Daring isn't purged quick, a tank can go splat rather quickly, so for your healers sake put your best tank on him.
One of the reasons why I made a ToT(Target of Target) purge macro on my shaman.
(And a ToT rank 1 earth shock for healing Julia's tank)

And, later on, when you're better geared, you get to solo tank 'em both!

And even when you're not, it's not like they hit that hard anymore.

Anyone know of a way for a Paladin to innterrupt J's heals?

what gear level would be required to reliably tank both of them at the same time? I was just curious when I could attempt it. Romulo hit like a whimp on my last time I was in there, and we only had two healers, I never dropped below about 65% health.

If you can tank one, without any close calls, you can tank both. Julianne doesn't really hit for much. The only danger is Romulo not getting spell-stealed.

Not true, the druid tank is by far better geared than I was yesterday, yet I tanked Romulo as I had no way to interrupt Julianne's heals, and we downed them on 2nd attempt.

My guild made me proud, of the people in the raid I was the only one who had ever seen the Romulo and Julianne fight, and that was from a healer's vantage.

1. Druids take crushes, so might not be bettered geared after all.
2. Use rogue, mages, huntards, dps warriors, shamans, whatever you have to interrupt Julianne, it dosen't have to be the tank that interrupts.

For a really fun (and quick) fight, just tank them both. This is obviously not a helpful comment for a progression fight, but it is really fun once you have the gear to do it.

Yeah for this fight a pally tank on Romulo is a godsend. It's next to impossible for anyone to pull him off you due to the constant blocks/HS dmg.

Tanking both can get a bit difficult unless your team is used to working together and has assist macros set. We keep them apart mainly so that it's easy for dps to switch back and forth to ensure they both go down at same time.
