actually fa becomes useful with the cloud serpent dailies - you get a daily for each of the 4 secondary proffesions each day that gives an additional 125 rep (each, so 500 rep total per day), so far I've only had "go bandage the injured hatchlings" for FA, and I haven't gotten around to doing the arch daily (gather X fragments), but it can cut down on the process of gaining rep with them.

What skill level do they require for the proffessions?

No idea, I have them maxed in Cata, and with all the cloth around, I had FA maxed really early in the levelling process (think I vendored the first 1k cloth)

As for fishing and arch, I have arch maxed for cata (525) and fishing was at 525 on the first day of the cloud serpent place, didn't get to the anglers untill day 2 of dailies.
