Do you have any idea if Avenger's Shield was benefiting from the 30% extra damage? Easy way to test it is to cast it on a dummy a few times, then use HA and cast it on the dummy a few more times. 30% extra damage should be pretty easy to see.

They aren't, but that's not really the issue. WoG's tooltip is wrong even after correcting for PvP power. And the typo is still a typo. :)

Confirmed that AS only gets the damage buff from Holy Avenger if Grand Crusader is active.

Great, thanks. Also report back on whether EF is now off-GCD, if you can. And if you have time, I would like WoG and EF data from this build as well (100 1-HP casts of each, again)

EF is off-GCD, is WoG and EF data ok from a lvl 86 or need a 90?

There were no changes to EF and WoG in this build. But I think Theck wants lvl 90 data for all the abilities.

kk thought that might be the case, starting to wish I'd levelled on the beta now.

Oh well bit late this side of the pond, hope your testing goes well.
Just let me know if there's anything useful a slacker like me can do.

Lvl 85 pre-made, naked except for white sword/shield, against a boss-level dummy:
http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-w ... details/2/
32 hits, 0 crits, 4 blocks
16 miss, 11 dodge, 8 parry. 49.3% avoid rate, roughly in line with the ~43% avoided rate of melee/CS
71 total casts

I didn't observe a single case where SotR did not grant the defensive buff. WoL reports 54 applications of the buff, which is already greater than the number of hits+blocks, and doesn't line up with any combination of (hit+block)+(miss, dodge, or parry).

The combat log doesn't seem to report the buff being refreshed, probably because of the "adds to the remaining duration" nature of the mechanic. However, it does report 215.6 seconds of uptime, which is far more than 32*3=96 seconds. It's actually a little higher than expected (71*3=213s), but I attribute that to combat log error.

Also, EF is definitely off-GCD now.

Need a level 90 for the ability damage scaling tests. In theory the SP scaling doesn't change with level, just the base value. But I'd rather just confirm the formulas at 90.

<edit> actually, a level 86 could do the WoG/EF components of test #38. I'm just looking for the presence/absence of the 5% SoI bonus, so level is sort of irrelevant for that.

Should I redo WoG/EF? I saw you added them to the latest build section

Take your time. I need to spend the rest of the night writing a blog post and troubleshooting these haste sims. Getting a weird spike at ~11.64% haste that I don't quite understand yet.

i still got an hour of free time, should be enough to get WoG and EF data using only 4 sets out of the 8 -- been using that strategy as of lately since it seems none of the abilities have changed mechanically, just their scaling.

Yeah, that should be fine. Now that we know how PvP power works, 4 data points should be enough to fit.

Also, could you give me a ballpark estimate of how much armor you have in your max-ilvl gear?

Also, only the naked sets are the only ones that match tooltip expectations for wog and ef

ok... wtf!? EF and WoG are down this build, a bit...

I will have to do some PVP power sets for Naked and 6 just in case something changed...

EDIT: And the realms are down... FUCK

You're misunderstanding me. PvP power will ensure that none of your data (except for possibly the naked set) matches the tooltip. That's not what I'm interested in. I'm looking at the corrected values, after normalizing PvP power out.

In the last few builds, even WoG's naked set didn't match the tooltip, and the PvP-power-corrected values confirmed that it was using EF's base formula. That's what I'm testing for.

I figured that out, but I'd have assumed they would come up with a tooltip that would update itself according to both your SP and your PVP Power.

you had mentioned that the best way to look at how pvp power scales is thru the EF tick, so I concentrated on getting data on those ticks, made it so much easy to get it (prolly 15 secs per pvp power set =P)

So, all data needed is in the spreadsheet, I hope, if not...

Out of curiosity, where does the "PvP P%" column come from? It's more or less confirming the PVP power -> PvP % conversion factor I got from earlier fits (~265), so if it's from in-game, that simplifies things greatly. I can just use PvP P% directly rather than mucking around with ratings.
