Yes, but then I generally end up with the Korean search page (previously Germany) which I don't want.

You do realize that if you type any non-URL into the chrome's bar it will automatically google search it for you.
Not if you set it to use a different search engine for that.

Its pretty obvious they want to use google.com for search.

Re: Missing the Memo
using another search engine for chrome seems.... silly. But then, I don't have the same outlook on Google that most people do.

Re: Missing the Memo
Also, I guess saying "I type google.com into the address bar" isn't entirely true either as google.com is my home page, so hitting the home button would be more accurate (assuming it's a new tab and not a new window.)

In Chrome my "home page" is my most visited site page, which is still locked to the same sites it was when they removed that feature. I desperately wish that they would bring that back.

Google knows best for you...
I really see Google in a downward spiral. The venom that is starting to be spilled by ex-Google developers, and the amazing failure of Google+, which is where all their resources are going.. It's amazing. Google is cutting all the tools that people use, and failing at putting their resources in Google+.
An example... I was setting up our corporate Google+ page (mainly to claim the name space), and guess what.. I can't link our YouTube channel into the video section, so I had to upload videos AGAIN to Google+. Really?.. they own YouTube...
It's really sad if Google+ is as lame as it is and they are supposedly putting all their resources into it.

There is also a new mount associated with it.

Yeah that's how I found out they upgraded the level range. I knew about the mount for a while because they announced to phase out the rocket a few weeks ago, but the level change apparently fell into a time when I wasn't really playing (Faillands patch).

Cata Gems always have.
Could you imagine all the socketable TBC gear with Cata Blue Gems in it?
I just put together the most "Socketable" level 70 set of gear that I could "easily" obtain (PvP, Crafted, Rewards). 28 Sockets.
Now, imagine yourself cruising around doing your thing, and here comes derpknightfrosticus, who has taken the time to set himself up with this amazing set of gear. 28 sockets of Cataclysm Red Gems just made you cry.
God Forbid He is a dirty duper and has 28 cata Epic Reds in those slots.
Ilvl restrictions are necessary.

Shift and mousewheel does the same as backspace but a lot more efficiently while browsing. Mousewheel down is go back, mousewheel forwards is go forwards. Why has it taken me so long to find this out? :<
