There are tons of parking garages in seattle, or parking lots, we always use those, one around every corner
It's at the Crossroads Mall in Bellevue across that pond. We are opening soon, will need a part timer...hoping to transition them into full time if the shop does well. If you still need work, hit up Aergis =)

Not counting passing through the airport on trips, I have been in Seattle twice. Both times, the weather was absolutely stunning and clear and I swore there wasn't a prettier city.

When the weather is nice in Seattle it's as nice as it gets anywhere on the planet. Sadly we spend the other 50 weeks of the year paying for it

I love the weather here in Seattle, it's my type. The million different types of rain, the super sunny on one half of the sky and super stormy on the other half. The sun rays poking through the stormy skies. And when it's summer time, it's the best, because it doesn't get super hot and it smells nice and you can go swimming without getting a sunburn!

when she says snow, she meant white-ish rain unless you go 20 min east to the mountains
and we would welcome another MTadin to the PNW

Trying to move to Snolquamie, that's 15-20 mins east of Seattle...this would be my back yard:

Washington is beautiful. When you aren't combatting the GRAY.

Most of my year there was spent generally despising the Army, which trickled rather badly into most aspects of my life. But then again, I bought tickets to PAX Prime while we were leaving Korea and got to WA only to be told I couldn't take leave for the convention as I'd be in Yakima. There was a pretty bad snow that took out power in our house for about 3 days, and for some reason Washington drivers don't know how to drive when it's raining. I don't know whether that was because we were around Fort Lewis with a lot of out of state drivers or because they're bad in general. And the taxes on everything in that state are deplorable, and somehow the state is still always broke. Not to mention gas prices were literally breaking us while we lived there, and rent was through the roof as well. It's a bad sign when you move back near DC and it's a lower cost of living.

A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. – Thomas Jefferson

I like the rain. It's like the sky is whispering jokes to the ground in a secret language, and if I can just listen hard enough, maybe I'd be able to understand it someday. Then I'd be able to laugh at the jokes, too.
You can still get sunburns in overcast weather. Clouds aren't typically very good at blocking UVA/UVB rays unless it's really thick cloud cover. I've had a few of those cloudburns. Can't really call them "sunburns" if you can't see the sun, after all!
I found a house in West Seattle (Fauntleroy) that I might end up buying. Asking price is $130k for a 4br/3ba 2800 sq ft house on a corner lot. I'm seriously considering making an offer on it sight unseen, but I'm kind of afraid of what kind of horrible money sink that would be considering the average price of homes in the area is running around 500-600k. Gotta be something HORRIBLY wrong with it if they're selling it that cheap. I've about decided that I'll be moving up to Seattle when my lease here is up next June, I can't handle another damnable summer here.
If I can get the time off work to get up there and go house shopping, I'll definitely be stopping in to check out the store that I helped name!

I just want the weather back. I miss western Washington - it's the closest I've ever come to heaven on earth.
