Painted the ceiling white, and painted the areas where slatwall won't be on white. Aergis worked his butt off and pulled out the carpet and padding to leave the floor ready for the concrete grind and seal.

Amirya:Why yes, your penis is longer than his because you hit 30k dps in the first 10 seconds. But guess what? That raid boss has a dick bigger than your ego.
Flex:I don't make mistakes. I execute carefully planned strategic group wipes.

Levie:Drunk Lev goes and does what he pleases just to annoy sober Lev.
Sagara:You see, you need to *spread* the bun before you insert the hot dog.

I don't know enough about this stuff, but will the slat wall have gaps in it? (That's what I'm getting out of the name anyway.) The only reason I ask is because you haven't pained the bottom half of the walls... so will that colour show through the slats?

Ya it has gaps but it has it's own thin board behind it in white, so the gaps will be white. Also there are vinyl inserts of different colors you can use in the slats if you want, but I am not sure if we want to do that, might distract too much from the product. We will be mostly using acrylic, white and black accessories too.

Slatwall dude is working fast, here is an example, first wall done!!!

Gonna give it a coat of paint too so it matches the white on the wall

Oh okay gotcha. I was worried that the paint was going to show through and be slightly weird looking. End result looks great!

Hehe thanks.
Ya we cut a corner not painting those horrible colors over where we knew the slatwall would just be over them. My shoulders killed me after the end of the first paint day

That place is nothing like the other place you showed us!
Where did you find such a better place to move into?
hehe
Great job folks. Maybe I can convince the family to get a trip to seattle soon.. (my mothers family lives up there)

I need to come by! I looked in this thread, but I guess it was before when we were talking about it, you mentioned where it's at.
I was up at the northgate mall last night (Long day of Awesome King-Tut exhibit, Vegan donuts, vegan cupcakes, and Science center!!!) and Looked for you guys in there but I didn't see anything, so I figured maybe it's the one downtown?
Also; HOW THE EFF DO YOU SEATTLE PEOPLE DEAL WITH THE PARKING?! Seriously, took me 21 minutes to find parking for the science center, and I still had to pay 16 bucks =[

Park at one of the day lots around the outskirts of the metro area, and take public transportation to wherever you're wanting to go. SDOT runs a lot of pretty conveniently located lots (at least for where I want to go when I'm up there visiting), and the light rail is pretty convenient. Buses aren't horrible, since compared to most "big" cities Seattle doesn't really have any proper ghetto neighborhoods.
I wish they'd build a proper subway though. Living in DC really spoiled me for public transit.

That requires a lot of knowing where you're going haha.
Every time I go to seattle it's a "Where the FUCK is this place?!" Followed by my girlfriend with her GPS out telling me turn by turn directions that work 50% of the time. lol
