Who levels in Beta? I'm just checking out the pets, experimenting with professions, and checking out the BMAH. Play a little after each new beta patch.

Well, only reason I'm leveling is so I know where I need to head up once MoP releases and not lose time trying to figure out where the quests are.

Don't worry about gear. Raid testing automatically scales your ilvls up. You can even get away with old legendaries and such atm.

The main reason to level in Beta is to raid test. Due to the huge volume of testers they have no need to release 90 templates, so people are expected to level through the content and give feedback on the way up.

Which is a little annoying for those like myself that really wanna test out certain things at level 90 because they are relevant to evaluating and doing what we do (in my case a hunter guide) - but without the time (or lust) to play through the expansion before it actually hits, just to test if things feel balanced or "clunky" or unfun or whatever.

Finally in for mandatory leveling. Wish Blizz would have just introduced 90 pre-mades... Oh well.
