Battle Tags - Diablo 3
I figured a thread for those that would like to share their Battle Tags would be nice. It’d be nice for us Tankadins who are playing Diablo 3(or other games?) and looking to group up, MF, or trade to have in game communication. Feel free to drop in any extra details like level / class of your characters.

I'll try to keep the original post with a clean list of just battle tags for simplicity.

60 Wizard US
She's a pretty fresh 60 so only on act 1 of Inferno with average gear, and a bunch of lower lvl toons I'm just using as extra bank space atm.

And despite what I assumed I would do, I ended up going EU side rather than US. It's a shame they disconnect the RealID across regions because I would've lost my entire friend's list if I played US side. What a bummer. Currently only been duoing with Invis, and we're both only about level 17, so still loads to catch up on at the moment.

Luckily you can change the server from EU / US at will if you want to play with some US people too. (albeit the gold, heroes, ect are independent).

True. But without any longstanding US friends to play with, and since there's no need for really organized raid groups in Diablo, it doesn't make sense to play in a foreign area and not be able to chat to my friends.

We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

I hate the term myself.
Side note: I had no idea how many EU players were on here.

There's also a bunch of US players that play on the EU servers because the downtimes are more convenient and never synched up.

I've got barbarian in inferno act 2 and demon hunter in inferno act 3. Former is tank without damage and later is glass-cannon.

That doesn't make any sense. Server maintenance EU side is between the hours of 9 pm (EST, so even earlier in the evening for all the other timezones in North America)) till into the wee hours of the morning. Whereas US maintenance is usually around 3 am till what... about 7 am? I have no idea how EU maintenance would make it easier for US players to play EU side.

Well, you see, here's how it is.
When the sun is at, we'll say, position Q over the horizon, while the moon is at position R in the sky which causes the Earth's axis to tilt just slightly...ever so slightly. Then you have to look up to the former planet of Pluto and see how it aligns with the moon at R, we'll call this position S.
This all plays into how the ocean's tide is going and this as well, is another variable, T (for Tide...get it? XD ok...didn't think so). Then we need to look to the sun and see how the solar flares are coming forth from the sun's surface and how much gamma radiation each burst causes, we'll call this U.
Then, we need to look at the company of Blizzard. This, in and of itself, is several variables; V, W, X; mostly money, caring and how many people can be affected at once. Then we need the variable Y for how many forum posts/threads Blizzard can count on for saying 'scheduled maintenance'.
Of course, then all this needs to be divided by the square root of PI.
Z, for all practical purposes, has to equal nothing else but 'working as intended'.
So...we get something like this
{[(Q+R+S+T)U - V*W*X] + Y} / square root of pi = Z
And that's why US players play on EU servers, Nika.

Anyway, it's because a lot of people work late, or otherwise odd hours. Take the 8pm-4am graveyard shift for example. When those people come home from work, if they want to play a little D3, OOPS. Servers down for maintenance. But oh look! The EU servers just came up!
Not to mention the Australians and all of the other non-US players that get stuck playing on the US servers by default. US downtime is Aussie prime time, so again - off to the EU servers they go.
It's a simple solution to a pretty simple problem, really. And since we're not region-locked, just make some characters on each side of the pond!

It's a bad idea to try to gear for surving the grip + attack. He very visibly telegraphs the grip, you need to work on your ninja dodge skills I think as the attack is extremely easy to avoid. Also can't a DH just smoke screen out of it? Sorry for getting further off topic, I'll edit in my battle tag when I get home from work; I wouldn't mind giving you a hand if you still need help later.
