ROFL that's awesome. Looks like a terrible Gap add.

No, I think it's Urban Outfitters... or one of those places...

And the 100 year massacre continues.

Seriously, I'd be surprised if Bobby V lasts the season. Players don't like him, the fans don't like him, he has never won more than 92 games a season, is barely a .500 manager, and just about all of his moves end up firing back.

Why did the FO hire him in the first place.

And now you understand why they gave Francona a standing ovation yesterday. It wasn't so much a "thank you for the 2 world series rings" as a "JESUS CHRIST COME BACK PLEASE WE'RE BEGGING YOU"

You're preaching to the choir on this. I always liked Tito and didn't want to see him go, but the FO made it impossible for him to stay with all the dirt they leaked to the media. Fuck you Lucchino.

Also, seriously... it takes someone special to sour a deal so bad in basically less than 3 weeks.

I missed the festivities yesterday, being an early game and all, but I was under the impression Francona declined the invite. I'm kind of bummed that he showed up.

He had initially declined, as a 'Fuck you' towards Lucchino, but decided against in the last minute because of the fans.

The Cleveland Indians are threatening to not be a bad team this year.

As opposed to last year's threat of not being a bad team?

I was worried that last year was a mirage. And then there were some questionable (why did we sign grady sizemore) moves in the offseason. And then there was an abysmal start to the season.

I'm still not holding my breath that they are a playoff team, but they are starting to put it together.

I just want to hear:

and with the fourth pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, The Cleveland Browns select Trent Richardson, Running Back, University of Alabama.

Because so help me if I hear

and with the fourth pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, The Cleveland Browns select Ryan Tannehill, Quarterback, Texas A&M.

My brain will

Well, they figure that if a QB from UT that took his team to the national championship is not good enough for them, then surely the QB for UT's little brother that couldn't even get to a BCS bowl will do better.

*sigh*
I will miss the yearly thanksgiving game between UT and Texas A&M.

I always forget how much I love playoff hockey.

Don't think you could ask for more than 3 series stretching to 7 games and the West was awesome as it felt like a complete changing of the guard.

Though I don't think this will last. San Jose/Detroit/Chicago/Vancouver will surely come back with a vengeance.
