Hard-pressed wouldn't really be the right words. I'd like to finish the T-11 meta, and T4W is the only thing I haven't downed (group I raided with during T-11/early T-12 broke up before I had a chance to get in there), but I'm not going to be losing sleep over it. And I can understand wanting to do some of the lower-level stuff on off-nights since its easier to roflstomp for a bit of fun. Though, to be fair if anyone else is in a similar boat, I'm completely willing to do the rest of the T-11 instances as well (time of day is the big limiter for me - I turn into a turnip by like midnight EST).

Not that I'd want to put expectations on our little group, but how difficult is Sinestra with T13 gear?

Normal, or heroic?

Still quite non-trivial. Most of the mechanics that wipe you on Sinestra don't care about gear. Bad orb kiting or wrack handling can still kill you.

Normal - that ICC run a couple weeks back was the first heroic raid I've ever done :P

Oh, hell, we could mop up T4W pretty quickly with 5 or 6 people. We zerged 10-man heroic T4W this weekend with one tank and one healer.

...

it took us a full group of ppl and several tries last sunday.
ok, none of us did it on heroic before, some were alts and we had a non raider with us, but still, some things were tricky.

Kind of a noob (only got into WoW in 4.2) but I really want to clear all the Cataclysm normal mode raids before MoP comes out. The logical place to start would probably be BoT and the other T11 stuff. Currently 380 ilvl Paladin on Kel'Thuzad US, Alliance. Doing LFR every week, but very little practical raid experience aside from that. I'm a decent tank and a shitty dps (only just started learning Ret :P). Is there any room for me in the weekly runs?

P.S. I should mention that I have the Mirror of Broken Images and actually use it. From what I've seen, that's like an instant +1000 rep around here.

I'd say ping Theck about the Thursday evening FL-25 runs (8:45-9 PM Eastern start time) if you can make it. That would let you knock one out. There its mostly about having warm bodies that can follow instructions.

Well, the 10 of us that zerged it are all heroic DS geared and have done heroic throne on 25's before. And we had a couple legendaries in the raid. But normal mode is a lot more forgiving.

I don't know when (if?) anyone will be planning T11 clears, but we can always use more warm bodies for the Thursday night 25-man Firelands clears.

same for 7/10 in our group last sunday and 2 legendary staves aswell, so no excuse there. :P
We needed 2,5 hours and 3 healers to get the job done.
so much for me feeling a bit leet :(

It took us 3 pulls, but we cheesed it by just killing Rohash and Anshal simultaneously and then hopping over and zerging down Nezir, and it took 2 pulls to figure out the timing and DPS distribution needed between platforms. I still think it was pointless to do that, since we could have easily killed it in one pull with the usual two-tank strat we used back when it was current content. But I figure that we could very easily cheese normal mode that way.

<edit> Looks like we didn't log it, but I think we had one legendary rogue and 3-4 staves in the group. Al'akir was actually easier, since there was no testing involved. We just used the usual strat and pushed him into phase 3 at around 4 or 5 stacks of feedback.

I think we had a good night last night. 4 quick kills of the dragons outside of one wipe on Halion Heroic.

Hrob won the Twilight Drake from Sarth. I think that was a bit of cosmic karma as he's been patiently grouping up with us and missing out on certain achievements.

Benebarba got the gold star and cookie for the night as he was trying to zone into Occulus (repeatedly) instead of the Eye and when we went to Halion, he was locked out from entering too many instances. He did a nice job of protecting the entryway though from any dragons streaming out of there. >.>

Followed that up with a quick Yogg + 0 kill and I didn't get MC'd much to my relief. I'll put up ICC for next week. Hopefully people had a bit of fun.
