Parry cap lowered?

I dont think Im the first one to notice or bring this up so Ill apologize ahead for making a thread on it =P

Been fooling around on the beta for a while and it looks like the old softcap for dodge is now the hardcap for parry aswell, Im not sure if this is something permanent but I sure welcome it. More reliability on keeping the resources up now that tanks gotta spend them on mitigation and healing instead of just threat.

It will even mean we'll see melee camping in front with the tanks aslong as theres no cleaves involved =P poor sub rogues and feral kittys!

Another thing that I noticed eventually was the increse in weapon damage, all weapons seems to have their weapon damages doubled. Finally started making sense to why they decreased weapon damage on specials, either way it should be a good thing for the game in terms of scaling if theyre gonna keep leaping 20 ilvl's every damn tier =P

Expertise is supposed to affect Dodge, THEN Parry, rather than both at the same time. The beta char sheet does not currently reflect this.

Its actually not just on the character sheet its applied =P its in the game aswell.

And the hit cap for an equal-level mob is supposed to be lowered to 3% too, but it's still 5% on beta. In other words, beta is still using the (old) cataclysm hit/exp miss/dodge/parry mechanics. It hasn't been updated yet to the new system.

Also note that Ghostcrawler wrote a blog post about how the new hit/exp/miss/dodge/parry mechanics were going to work, and blue posts mentioned the weapon damage change a few months ago, which is why you didn't see a thread about them. Most of us already knew.
