Beta Invites

/snip Check your bnet account, I have *not* gotten an email, but in the extra 'slots' on the WoW game, where the PTR and free trial slots are, there is now one for MoP.

Same for me and a guildmate, still no email but we logged in last night to check our bnet account and had a new link for MoP. Downloading 17.1 gigs atm.

I just for fun checked my bnet account last night 4 min after the blue tracker caught the announcement, and it was there, so mine downloaded while I slept.

They are STILL in the process of sending out the invites, so if you didnt get one the second the post came up, doesnt mean you missed this wave aswell...
Also, why is maintankadin not an official fansite? ;(

Nope, no beta. My main annoyance is that I wanted to enjoy some exploring, but buy the time I get in, everything will have been found, measured, and catalogued.

And, thank God MT is not an official fansite. If it were, it would be blocked at work for many of us. Let's keep it that way...

ZOMG! I was in Open Beta for WoW and i ganked the Pass late the 1st day. Took me an hour to DL all 17g and jumped in before work. I copied my Paladin, Hunter and Mage as well as a Pre-Made PvP Rogue. hehe.

I wont be on after work sadley...but I WILL be on when I wake up round 4am Alaska Standard Time (-8 GMT?) and will join the throngs of shiat!


HUGE amount of Lag off the go too though so I lowered ALL setting to "low". I am thinking that once I am out of the Panda Start Zone that will smoth out. haha ZOMG so AMPED!

At the rate nerfs are coming out this seems reasonable. Although that could just be wishful thinking.

The bright side is that by the time we get into the beta, most of the content will actually be there. My plan is the check out the leveling content at a leisurely pace on my main on beta so I can spend the actual launch on my mining toon and speed-leveling my paladin without worrying that I'm missing the story.
