Skipping bosses

I know this isnt exacly tanking related but...

Can you actually skip bosses in BT?

The gate to Illidan cannot be opened until the Council is dead.

I do not know if it is possible to sneak past Shahraz.

The gate to Shahraz requires Gorefiend, Gurtogg, and Reliquary all cleared. I don't know if Akama is tied to that mess as well.

The gate behind Supremus cannot be opened until Supremus is dead.

Attempting to run past Naj'entus will cause him to throw impaling spines at you while running up the tube to Supremus. This mechanic (supposedly) is what causes the graphical glitch players see when they are running up the tube and suddenly get a bunch of missed needle spines in their combat log. The attack only misses because Naj'entus is, well, dead.

I seriously doubt they'd let you sneak past Shahraz considering no one I know has!

Funny story, right after reading this, we were in BT, i then said on vent "oh you know, i finally found out what was that "miss spam" when you get past Najentus", they asked what it was, exactly when i started saying it, vent crashed.

We had a terribad rogue named Chalsx back in the L60 days who would always ask "can we skip this boss??" in ZG. Soooo "can we Chalsx this boss?" became the running joke.

Well, that's the explaination on the miss spam I got from one of the healerdins anyway. Not sure where he got it from, seemed to imply it was a blue post somewhere though.

one of our warlock unintentionally made some running gags (poorly translated, but you should get the message ^^)

at fankriss he was like - "can we just sneak past that thing?"
having killed the twin emps for something like 10 times - "I always wanted to know.. why are our melees always running around? and why we just don't kill one emperor and than the second one?"
on vael - "guys! hey guys! I found a bug! all my casts are instant! cool! huh?! wth!" <- this is one of my favorites ^^

Haha, yeah, that reminds me of the first time we walked into the Twin Emp's room and went about figuring out how to kill them. Our one mage's brilliant deduction:

"The one on the left has mana."

So that pretty much became the Official Secret to beating the Twin Emps.
