So, macro help, please
Looking for how to:
- Target a mob who is attacking a party member
- Cast an ability
For my alt Prot Warrior, I want to be able to put a macro into Healbot (which shows me who has aggro) that will allow me to cast a couple of my abilities on the mob who is attacking one of my party members.
Specificially, I would like to cast Intercept and possible Heroic Throw through healbot on the mob that is targeting/attacking my party member.
Any thoughts? I know I can get to the mob a party member is targeting but how do I get to a mob that is targeting my party member?
Thanks in advance for any help here.

Re: So, macro help, please
Totally doable with a mouse-over macro.
/cast [target=mouseovertarget] Heroic Throw
EDIT: Mouse-over should work due to your mouse having to be over the unit's unit frame in order to cast. Alternatively you could try a simple target macro. I don't know how healbot works internally, so I would stick with the mouse-over version.

That will cast it on the target of his mouseover. I think he's asking for a macro that will cast it on something that's targeting his mouseover, which isn't possible iirc.

Little work around though. Use Threat Plates and MO Heroic Throw. There's ways to do it but not has he wants it.

I agree, the best solution is to use a mouseover macro and tidyplates.

Yeah, I use Tidy Plates/Threat Plates and can cast the ability that way. I just like how Intervene works and wanted to see if I could do the same with Intercept.
Thanks for the input.
