you're thinking that the threat multiplier is applied twice because of this bug?

um... well the patch hit i was out for most the night so didn't go BT/MH with my guild. i pugged a kara run as the MT and OMG !!! i was only putting out 300-400 TPS like wtf is that about.. i was sitting in 459 spell dmg aswell.

I put on my threat set thats about 800 spell dmg pre patch on trash or any bosses i was riding 1.3k-1.6k TPS now i'm only doing 700-1k.

Has anyone else noticed your complete lack of threat? i even cast RF many times during the battle but no change to my tps it was like it was never on.

I was even with a very bad raid i was 2nd on dps with 28% with a shadow priest 1st on 29% but still mages and all sorts where pulling agro on bosses.

Tanked Winterchill against all-out DDs, too. Can't imagine how there could be a problem with threat.

This may be unrelated but was this tanking prince? He has a very faulty hitbox since patch 2.3, quite often its literally impossible to get a consecrate to tick on him. The only times I've had this 'threat bug' was on prince and it turned out that it was simply caused by consecration not hitting him, making me drop ~250 TPS

Were said posters reporting low numbers on KTM/Omen?

Like I said in the other thread, and several other people have said already, if you are seeing low numbers on your threat meter the problem is not an RF bug. All the threat meter does is look at how much damage you did, multiply it by however much you're supposed to have from buffs/talents, and spit that back out. If your consecrate ticks for 100 damage and you have imp RF up, it will always report that as 190 threat, regardless of how much threat RF actually contributed.

I have yet to hear a situation in which someone had a decent threat lead and lost aggro, at least since 2.3.2.

No, it have been people who had problems with mobs killing people and trying out will do no harm, especially if it solves the problem (no discussion why it should do so, please, it obviously did for some people because the game handled their RF as if it would not have been skilled).
