Re: [10H] Hagara
So handling the ice wave phase, you can just kill the totems one by one, and when the wave spawns you run into the bubble fast, also all the dispelling is handled in there, seems correct?
How are you guys handling the ice lances, solosoaking or sharing?
2/3 healing?
Last question, how do you do it in the lightningphase? We just went with 10people running around the room in normal which obviously wont work in heroic, any tips here?

Re: [10H] Hagara
We found that its easiest to taunt her during focused assault, we didn't use 2 tanks, just had our holy pala taunt and then I taunted her back before she reached him. Its risky, but we didn't have any deaths to it yet. It hits for 40k per attack through holy shield - either it is unblockable, meaning paladins/warriors are gimped here again, or it hits for 80k normally, which is obviously less likely.
Haven't figured how to deal with transition phases yet, didn't have enough time =( Lightning seemed undoable with 2 heals, and frost was just too chaotic with no assignments.

Well if it hits for 40k with holy shield up then it would only hit for 40/.49*.69= 56k. with a normal shield block. (or 81.7k unblocked)

Re: [10H] Hagara
Pretty sure it was intended to be handled by taunting (either 2 tanks, or a healer risking a taunt).
Looking at death log, I was taking some 42k and some 32k hits (pretty sure I had both holy shield and DP up). If its blockable, I can't see how a bear or DK can possibly survive a volley of 90k hits.

Anyone know if the Hunter Distracting Shot works too to taunt the assault? Or just tank-capable class taunts?

It is unblockable. Basically we kind of suck on this fight. We are capable of tanking it, but for example a bear is way better.

Our feral tank just soaked every Focused Assault with spamheal + a soft CD.

What's the best way people have found to doing the lightning phase with the 8 totems?

Re: [10H] Hagara
Since damage goes up fairly fast and the boss got an enrage timer, we have two players with damage reductions run into one direction of the circle, another two players run into the other direction of the circle. The rest stays in the center with 2 healers each keeping up a pair of runners and the third healer (Restoration Druid in our case) keeping up the rest of the raid.

Pretty sure it won't, as Distracting Shot doesn't work on bosses. I'm not even sure the mechanic is intended to be countered by taunts, since if the attacks are unblockable, druids would have a serious edge here.

Re: [10H] Hagara
I can confirm that. According to our hunter the boss is immune to Distracting Shot - we only used taunts to kite her after her Enrage though.

Re: [10H] Hagara
Spell immunity mechanics such as Ice Block and Divine Shield should now temporarily block damage from Watery Entrenchment, but should not remove the debuff.
Okay, so now with this, you basically just outheal it, or run around the room dpsing the things, what else? You obviously dodge the things, but i heard stuff about giving freedom to people. What's the reason behind that? (Also, do you just run in to get dispelled and if you need to dodge the waves?
Does aspect of the pack works?
edit: does anyone know if pvp trinket/running while casting/druid stampeding roar still works?

Re: [10H] Hagara
Speed boosts should still provide boosts of speed, but not damage immunity. PvP trinket/roar/etc should remove the movement-impairing portion of the debuff as intended, but should not prevent damage. Using these abilities remove the snare is "working as intended," while using them to glitch the damage-causing portion is an exploit.

Re: [10H] Hagara
Has anyone had any luck in just standing in the bubble and healing? We're thinking about doing that. If we have two melee DPS running around the outside, and the rest stacked in the middle (apparently you can pretty much turret from one spot), it seems that it may work three healing it. We're thinking about rotating PW:B, frenzied regen 4pc, then personals and healing CDs. It looks like we'd need to do around 100-120k hps between 3 healers to handle this (damn Resis aura and AM being worthless on more mechanics this tier). That seems very doable for 45 second bursts.
This would also make the rest of the fight MUCH easier 3 healing it. Lightning and normal phases would become pretty trivial.

Healing through the bubble damage is a commonly used strategy. If your healers are up to the job, go for it.
