Yes its possible (at least on 10m) but treck said that it's not on 25m.

Really!!??? I remember trying it a few times and getting nothing. Maybe it was not allowed during the dec blades swings?

Re: [10H] Baleroc
What do you mean by "not allowed" ? You have to time it perfectly to make it work..
Heres the (full) log of the dblade-phase
The debuffs was on me from 22.615 till 26.622 (4 sec) and the next swing came at 27.201 (~4.6 secs). So you've got a time window of half a second.
Lets take the next dblade-phase:
The 2nd swing hit and the debuff faded after 4 sec, new debuff came in 0.87 sec later.
Thats your time window for self-LoH.

Re: [10H] Baleroc
I had thought it was a 3 sec debuff vs the 4 sec swing pre-nerf, but I never actually tried to time it.
self-LoH may be a nice thing in an emergency (like Ardent Defender) but you shouldn't necessarily plan on it given that there are usually multiple DBs and you can't use it on all of them.

Did it last night and realized I typically use my LOH on a soaking dps not getting enough heals. But thank you for the heads up on the buff-timer window to LOH self. Appreciate it. Good in a pinch.

Re: [10H] Baleroc
Post-nerfs, is it best to use a 2-soak or 3-soak rotation for this? We're 5/7 with just Baleroc standing in our way. No Spriest or Unholy DK to take our stacks, unfortunately, so we just have to rotate.

We've 2-soaked every week since before the nerfs and we've never had a kill where someone didn't screw up the rotation via torment spreading (and thus require one of our backups to step in). If your healers aren't on the ball it's very easy for a DPS to die while 2-soaking even with a strong defensive cooldown for the last few seconds. Honestly it depends on preference, though I imagine for learning you'll have better success just starting with a 3-soak rotation.

Three-person soaking, however, means that you'll have no backup if someone does get Tormented at the wrong time - which someone almost always will, because of Countdown.

You still have one backup unless you're 2-tanking (and there's really no reason to do that anymore).

Re: [10H] Baleroc
Depends on how many healers you use. With no one to take a full crystal right off the start, we've been using 3 healers, 1 tank and 6 dps. If we were to three soak (which we don't), then we'd have no one on backup. With our setup, we have two backup soakers.
Basically, if you three heal, one tank - you can't three-person soak. If you two heal, one tank - you can three-person soak, but only have one backup.

Re: [10H] Baleroc
For 10m a 3 soak rotation only requires 5 players allowing for more backups. With 3 heals i would 2 soak anyways just to raise the stacks better but with 2 healers you can run the rotation SP = A, rest don't matter.
First Shard Full soak by SP
2nd shard persons B,C,D soak
3rd shard persons E,A(the sp),B(torment debuff already drops by this point)

Re: [10H] Baleroc
I can't imagine a scenario where 3 healers is necessary, especially with a Paladin tank since we are OP lol cheese single tank godmode on this encounter.
