Why hello there whipershnapers! Shtay awhile and listen!
*raspy old man voice* how do you all do today! I was reminded about maintankadin and I wanted to shay hi to all the new paladin tank type people */oldmanvoice*
more seriously though, I'm interested in what I've missed in the last 3-4 years since paladin tanking became legitimate.
as a reference, the last post I made was talking about pulling supplicants at the black temple using consecrate rank 1. Mostly just stopping by to say hi

If you invest all of your talents, all of your gear, all of your knowledge and skill into tanking, you should be the best tank.

Why, you see, a paladin, it's like a warrior, but it uses the holy light to deal damage! Also, something about ninjaing tanking loot and being a healer, but my memory's a bit foggy!

all I remember is giant axes and bloody boss faces. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
In all honesty, most of us here in the asylum (NOT ALL, before the rage starts) Quit WoW awhile ago, and just stick around for the awesome community =]

The regulars at least.
I can't speak for cata, but wrath was cool. The community even considered us Op for awhile.
I almost am waxing nostalgic for supplicant farming now...
I also miss kara :C

Brekkie:Tanks are like shitty DPS. And healers are like REALLY distracted DPS
Amirya:Why yes, your penis is longer than his because you hit 30k dps in the first 10 seconds. But guess what? That raid boss has a dick bigger than your ego.
Flex:I don't make mistakes. I execute carefully planned strategic group wipes.
Levie:(in /g) It's weird, I have a collar and I dont know where I got it from, Worgen are kinky!

I'd say the bulk of people who visit the Asylum still play WoW.

I always thought that the Asylum had a higher % of people who had quit and of those still playing a higher % of non-paladins compared to other boards on the forum. But nowhere close to a majority.
I might be a warrior now, I am not sure.

Does it count as "playing" if all you do is log on every now and then to tell someone to go get fucked, then log off again?
Cause I totally do that to my GM. Every couple of weeks, when he least expects it:
[Fivelives] has come online.
[Guild] [Fivelives]: Hey John, go get fucked.
[Fivelives] has gone offline.

Even better is when I buy a gamecard a couple of weeks after my last one expired specifically to log on and tell him he's an ass, only to find out that he's gone for the week.

He has to entertain himself somehow!
Also, everytime I read the title, I say it as "wiper shnapers" and can't figure out what shnapers are.
Then I realise anew that he's totally misspelled whippersnapper, even if he wanted to do whippershnapper.
Then I start pondering why there's a "sh" sound in either snapper or stay, since most elderly I know do not speak like that. If anything, it's more of a prolonged vowel.
I've determined the OP must be some sort of freak gnome/goblin/dwarf hybrid. Too drunk to say it right, a high pitched voice in which to say it, and with a goblinesque cackle.
