That one anachronism wrecked the entire movie for me after that. Now I can't watch it anymore.
Idk, there's plenty of little anachronisms in that movie. (German shepherds, anyone?) Something like, Maximus pulls out an uzi would wreck the entire movie. But stirrups? Nah. Still one of my absolute top movies.
Also one Nika refused to watch for the longest time because she hates Russell Crowe. (See also: thinks Inception is bad because she hates Leo.)
This makes me LOL

This was harder to come up with than I had expected because we don't have cable and usually just watch a lot of DVDs. I had to think of movies we might actually see on tv.
Ghostbusters
The Shining
O Brother Where Art Thou
Jaws
Flight of the Navigator
These are by no means my favorite movies, just ones I am likely to see on tv and go "oh I love this movie!"
Awesome.

A movie that I quote almost all the time in real life, but for some reason never want to watch when it's on. Almost like the antithesis of this list for me. Although I love the hell out of it.

I know it's silly, but then again I can get hung up on some rather silly things sometimes. Also - I saw Inception and didn't like it. My not liking Inception was unrelated to my absolute hatred of Leo Dicrapio.

I am one of like 3 people that enjoy episodes 1 to 3.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

I dont understand why people don't like this one. I think its just traditionists. Most quotable movie by far, Most bad-ass light saber fight, most epic sound track, pod-racing, Best actor playing anakin, Best scene where hyperdrive leaks from basically full to 0 in a second but only right as they mention it yet they can still get to tatooine.....

As the years have gone by, I've come to accept the PT more. I've always liked Ep. III well enough, and the others have grown on me.
I attribute it to not being able to maintain high levels of nerdrage for an extended period of time.
Back on topic, some more movies to add to my list:
Talladega Nights
NL's Vacation
Fletch I & II

I've always felt the duel between Obi Wan and Anakin in Ep 3 was the best bit of emotion in the entire series.

Children destroy movies for me. :[ But yes, I did like the Liam Neeson saber fight. I credit Rob Roy.

My wife is also a huge SW fan, and she hates it when I quote that in my best Darth Vader voice.
