someone thought I was wearing my comedy set when I showed up with these on. The graphic design is horrible.

Right now i'm also wearing mixed t11/t12 gear looks hilariously awful. I like that Nika has the good grace to look embarrassed in that SS.

I had a model editor that I'd used from T6 to 4.0 that I used to change every shield to the Bulwark because I like shield that look like shields. I miss that program.

Well obviously blizzard used their design time to give you extra dailies instead. They can't give you that AND a 5 man dungeon or aesthetically pleasing items.

Which Bulwark? The Bulwark of Azzinoth was always my favorite shield.

Blizzard has struck out on shield models so far this expansion, failing to even use the same palette as the tanking armor. Boots I kind of accept this from though -- I think they will look fine with the set. Just need the pattern to drop!

I've managed a pretty solid T11/12 hybrid look with Tabard of the Achiever and Thunder Wall Greaves. This is a good tier for a red beard.

I seem to recall Blizzard has used that boot model before. And when the contrast in color is so sharp, it's much more noticeable. If your leggings weren't pristine white, the look wouldn't be so apparent.

Also, Nika, how do you manage to look at that mix of gear? Me, I'd stick on a guild tabard and call it good.

They haven't used that boot model since before the Ulduar crafted ones (Spiked Deathdealers I think?) if I recall correctly. The last time I remember wearing this old boot model was from the Naxx 10 boots. Edit: And the reason I remember that is because I popped those babies on and watched myself run around Dalaran while squealing in glee at the way my fancy boots looked!

Also, I hate tabards on humans. They look awkward, so I tend not to use them. I'm not overly concerned with matchy-matchy (unlike my husband lol), but the models... hot damn.
