Expected damage in Firelands?

How much damage should I expect to take from a 10 man normal Firelands boss swing? 35k? 40k? Should we be expecting rising burst damage until the inevitable point of requiring a "boss expertise" band-aid?

If you have a dig around the World of Logs forums, you can find a few logs dotted about.

e.g. From here Ragnaros appears to be meleeing for around 50k. Although the DK's average melee damage taken was around 30k, which I imagine is diluted by the adds? I'm having a look around just now.
