But but but but but. You can't fly in Ghostlands! And that's old world. Or the Draenei start zone!

Re: Why Deepholm!??!?
Well, theres no new lvl 80 flying skill when your leveling the 80->85 levels.
And at lvl 60 you can fly in mounthyjal and twilight highlands, even if your 20levels to low.
So why not deepholm?
If they would exclude deepholm, they would have to make yet another flying skill when you reach lvl 80 to only fly in deepholm (or code it into northrend flying, but that wouldnt make much sense at all)

Re: Why Deepholm!??!?
I thought this thread was going to be about how shitty Deepholm is as a zone. I am disappointed. I hate that zone purely based on ugliness and the large number of quests you have to do to unlock Therazane. All new toons will be scribes.

because the Flight Master's License allows you to fly in all Cataclysm zones. This includes Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Deepholm.
Ghostlands/Azuremyst/etc. are all Burning Crusade zones.

That means that if you get summoned to Deepholm at lvl 60 you can fly, pretty much.
Maybe for a farming bot?

Can't mine or herb deepholm till lvl 75. (Just had to push my farmer to 75 so he could gather more than Obsidium and Cinderbloom.
But yeah, as it's been said, it's simply for all Cata zones. Otherwise it would be even more stupid to have a separate license for flying in Deepholm. Want to pay 3500 more gold for that?..
