I wonder if I should get rid of my stockpiles of V.Fire then.
On our server they are only 16g each and supply is pretty strong. Price may fall if the fire lands dailies flood the market with more.
Depends on your economy size. On larger economies there are likely enough thinking the same thing that they could be oversupplied.
How many pages of V Fire are there now? If it's over 3-4, there will likely be a strong supply after the patch hits.

Now it increases how much your shield blocks by 20% for 10 seconds on a 30 second CD. It's a nice mini-CD, use it when there's a lot of melee burst damage.

It's really weird that it posted it here and not in your thread, maybe some sort of forum glitch?
That or one of those darn moderators are playing tricks on us.

Dumb Question: Do short term consumables (a la potions) buff your parry rating?
If yes, is anyone else a little more worried about aggro in the first 15-30 seconds due to a string of RNG parries on boss pulls after chugging a Golemblood potion?
It's not like we have any other potion options at the moment but it could certainly lend to our pulls being even more dicey for the first couple of seconds in 4.2.

Strength from consumables gives us parry, yes.

Now I'm not following you. Your parry rating doesn't affect the boss's ability to parry you.

His basis was off but sorta on for different reasons. Your higher parry chance can result in a slower vengeance build up.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Re: 4.2 PTR discussion
If our parry goes up significantly from a Golemblood Potion and we subsequently parry multiple boss melee swings in a row, this will slow down Vengeance stacking. Right? (Bear with me as I'm returning to the tanking game after a hiatus). This could theoretically result in aggro issues for dpsers that have gone "all out" after a countdown unless I'm overlooking something.

Re: 4.2 PTR discussion
Well the golem blood potion increased your attack power by 2*1.05*1200 (i think that's right) or 2520 ap. This is almost equal to having taken 25200 unblocked damage in terms of vengeance. It's also only 315 parry rating (before DR) so around only a 1.5ish more parry. That would hardly be enough to worry about lasting for 25 seconds its a solid reliable threat boost the start. In fact if you found vengeance to be to rng for your liking at the start this is a much better way stabilize that threat gain early on.
Anyways anyone else notice the lack of a 391 tanking and caster cloak again this tier?

Thanks for the clarification Arincia. Good thing I prefaced it with "dumb question" since it was one. >.>

[391] Wings of Flame (H) - Alysrazor Firelands (H)
No tanking one right now.
There seems to be a gap in the belt slot for 391 I thought.

[Durable Flamewrath Greatclock] ?
Not sure how the 378 is upgraded; assuming Crystallized Firestone for now. Or this doesn't exist.

That cloak isn't upgradable via the crystallized fire atm. (or any rep items atm only certain boe's and valor items (not valor rings/necks/wrist) are upgradable)
