Re: [10] Cho'gall -- Normal Strategy
Festering Blood causes the corpses of the big adds to emit the little adds. However, if you have been too slow to kill the big add, then it does get supercharged or something. It is definitely a good idea to spare enough dps to kill the big adds prior to the Festering Blood cast, whereas allowing the cast to go off with an add up is definitely bad.
My experience when I am on my tank is that killing the add late also SEEMS to affect the timing of Fury, making it more difficult to optimally distribute Fury stacks among the tanks so they drop off regularly.

Never Pug a random Troll Heroic, always wait for the guild group.

Silly Question probably.
Does a Balance Druid's Solar Beam Disrupt the tentacles in P2?

The Interrupt part works, the Silence does not.

Re: [10] Cho'gall -- Normal Strategy
I am about to try this fight tonight - I gather the timers on the taunt and adherent spawn imply that one tank can be on the boss throughout and one on the adherent. I infer that the add tank should be the one who starts out on the boss - there will be fury of Cho'gall, a taunt and then he is free to pick up the add. Is that the correct sequencing? (It's just a little counter-intuitive to explain to the other tank - that the add tank starts on the boss.)

Yes, the tank who pulls Cho'gall will be the one who picks up ads.
