What to do with excess VPs in 4.1?

I've taken a few weeks off WoW, but it looks like it will now be easier to get valour points from just doing heroic 5-mans (more from the 4.1 dungeons at least). After grinding daily heroics since the expansion, I had just got to the stage where I had all the tank gear I could get from VPs without the raid tokens (one reason I took a few weeks off), so I am just wondering what to do with VPs from now on? I am working on the assumption there is no new tank gear available for VPs yet (no new tier) and that when there will be, existing VPs may well be downgraded to JPs, so there is no point trying to stockpile them.

I guess I should work on getting offspec VP gear or perhaps even trade for conquest points to get better PVP gear. What are other people doing?

On my dwarf hunter, I'll be saving Valor to convert and buy the PVP gun, which is BiS for a dwarf due to the racial (and lack of guns in raids).

Dunno for tank gear.

This is what I was planning, until I noticed that the conversion still counts towards your total weekly cap.

I dunno. I'll see how well the BoE boots market holds up, I suppose. I've got all the tank gear, I've got all the Holy gear, and my alt has access to almost identical boots through reputation rewards. I don't PvP and there's no point in putting a Ret set together since I'd never use it.

With only 1250 VPs allowed a week.. pretty much nothing.. you'll get VP boots every 2 weeks, they should have raised the cap to 1650 to at least buy a pair each week..
