Again, it's not just the adds that are afflicted, they're just the most obvious. It's the dragons as well. And it didn't happen until around 4.06 (maybe the ID before or after, can't remember). And it's happening when they're way out of melee range as well.

You know, now that you mention it the last time we had a sloppy wipe I was able to kite around Nef + all the adds getting huge for like 20 seconds before the fire everywhere killed me. I think it might be a universal problem with the fight in 4.0.6.

It is a problem in 4.0.6.
It seems to be they stop and start when you move slightly. Kiting the adds is insanely easy right now and people should push for a nef kill if they haven't gotten him yet becuase phase 3 is a joke.

So I kited Nef and all his adds from 17% to 0% over 2 minutes tonight, without being meleed once. Nefarian will also give up trying to cast Shadowflame Breath if you outrange him far enough when he starts it. Safe to say this is a universal bug introduced in 4.0.6.

iirc the "issue" is that they seem to wanna reset their swingtimer every time they have to move (nefarian and the adds).
Meaning that you can backpaddle nonstop and never take as much as a hit.
Someone said its not working anymore tho, anyone noticed a change?

Are people still experiencing this movement bug? In our raid on Monday (3/14) they appeared to be acting normally (they certainly were meleeing me as I backpedaled). The Ony/Nef tanks were also experiencing normal boss movement. However on our Thursday (3/10) raid we were seeing the bug. Perhaps a hotfix?

Monday last reset our adds were still showing the buggy behavior. I have not tried Nef yet this week so I can't comment on them being fixed or not.

So I don't know if this is because of the fixate bug, but when we did Heroic Nefarian last night, the adds were actually maintaining threat across deaths. This made pickup trivial, since any adds that died a little further back along the circle would just get up and come back to me without me having to do a thing.

That may be nice on 25m when you have more than 2 dedicated tanks, but on 10m its brutal. 1 tank = Ony, 1 tank = Nef, 1 plate dps = ph1 skellies. Ph3 comes around and Ony tank is ready but all adds run to the ph1 plate dps = wipe.
Try again, too many for tank to single target taunt before they wreak havoc in the raid = wipe.
Try again, and tell ph1 ret pally to bubble before they get to the raid. Skelly adds switch to ph1 ret pally healer = wipe.
Done for the night. Getting a 3rd tank in 10m is a horrible penalty for maintaining threat accross deaths. I posted about this in the Nef-10 thread.
