[Hunter] LOL-pvp advice needed...
Well, since the ZA and ZG loot tables don't include items for the gear slots that my hunter needs upgrade from the most, I need advice for the current arena/bg pvp system to collect the conquest points I need for a gun and the polearm.
Any ideas how to best to get those points without it taking 6 months?..

1) form a 2v2 team. Double DPS is fine, as is prot+dps.
2) Do arenas. Wearing crafted pvp gear may make this much easier.
Five wins each week nets you ~1353 points (if I recall right). The bow costs 3400, so 3 weeks of arenas, and the pike costs 3400 also. Even at the lowest rating, you should get matched with SOME teams you can beat. As a hunter, prepared to get trained HARD, though, so you're likely to die fast.
You can't buy them with honor yet, though any honor points you stockpile should, I think, get saved (with a 4k cap?).

I hadn't though about stocking the honor for when the next arena season starts, yeah, that's an option as well. I do have the pvp cape and legs from BH, so that's a start.

Nice. Getting another piece of the set pieces will net you a HUGE amount of resilience, and thus it's better to buy a 2nd or 4th set piece than anything else... though, using honor for it is good as that lets you spend the Conquest points on the weapons (since there are no Honor weapons yet).
I'm curious what FemaleDwarf and the other sims say about using the 353 weapons (with lower base damage but DPS itemization) versus the 359 pvp ones, which waste itemization on Resilience rating but have higher base damage (and higher Agi/Str/etc).
After ten wins (two weeks of capping rating, or two nights if you do it monday/tuesday
), your rating is likely high enough that opponents will have some resilience, so going without resilience gear might be troublesome. The crafted gear might be suitable in some slots (belt, wrists, feet, etc) if you're having troubles living long enough.
Also, thanks for moving it.
