Quick and probably nub question..
What stat should I be focusing on most? I have been told by guildies that I need to get hit (8%) and exp (26) capped before anything else. Because of this, I have been changing parry and dodge into hit and exp as needed reach these goals.
Is this the correct assumption or should mastery be my main stat?
Thanks in advance,
Keith

Read up on the equipment guides and the FAQ. You really don't want to go whole hog on Hit and Expertise - if anything you should reforge to Mastery. Threat isn't a huge problem in Cata (assuming you have a decent opening routine and rotation). With healing being as mana-intensive as it is, mitigation and avoidance are of greater importance than just stacking stam.
We. Love. Mastery.
Now, where are those links...
Did I mention Mastery?
Post your armory spec here for a through inspection and check up from people who actually know what they are talking about (I don't)

Stamina isn't everything, but it's still good. When you have a thick health bar,
your healers have time to use their efficient stuff instead of their fast stuff.
(That's a hard benefit to quantify so you don't hear about it a lot, but I damn
sure notice the difference when I'm healing.)
There are gem cuts now called puissant that are mastery/stamina splits;
I'm wearing a lot of those. I'm happy to see hit and expertise on my gear,
but I'm not actively pursuing them.
Very good, actively pursue
Mastery
Stamina
Nice, pursue but not at the expense of the above
Expertise
Dodge
Hit
Parry
Strength
Better than nothing, I guess
Crit
Haste
Agility
Spell power
Very (very) nearly useless
Intellect
Spirit

Yes, I have a lot of those. And they sell well in the AH too.

So should I reforge for mastery?
I will post my armory link in the other post instead of cross posting here.
Thanks,
Keith

There is a thread on it in the gear advice forum. Reforge threat stats into Mastery is the rule of thumb (there's more to it than that, of course). Reforge dual avoidance into Mastery as well - usually the stat that is suffering from the most diminishing returns. Again, there's a lot of discussion on this. I see you've posted to the gear advice thread - that's a great place to start.

Yes, Pinky. Tonight we will cut gems until we control the Auction House. Then, with our vast financial leverage we be able to get Saurfang drunk. We will then take his battleaxe and, with its unstoppable cleaving powers, WE SHALL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
